Found this priced for 300 on FB Marketplace which I thought was a great deal because it has Soul Silver and it is in pristine condition. Seller checked the games after posting the listing and none of them but Soul Silver would load. He dropped the price to 125 (and then 110 if I drove to him to pick it up).
Been wanting to upgrade from my Blue 3DS XL just for the better 3d tracking, and the Galaxy Model has always stood out.
Got home after buying it and looked at the 3DS cartridges which had pins covered in gunk. Got out the isopropyl alcohol and scrubbed and scraped away the gunk, covered one of the cartridge pins in alcohol and inserted 40 or 50 times into the 3DS. Each game is loading perfectly first time, and Soul Silver ended up being authentic.
Just sold my 13 year old Blue XL for 205 today. So all together I managed to upgrade from the Blue XL to the Galaxy New 3DS for a total of 95 dollar profit, plus Omega Ruby, Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask and Soul Silver. Haven't ever played those Pokémon generations, and haven't played Ocarina or Majoras since n64, honestly so excited to play them I'm not sure where to start.
Last two pictures are a grip I 3D printed with Galaxy filament that I think looks great with the purple and blue of the Galaxy 3DS.
