I haven't touched my new 3ds Xl in months and since tomodachi life is getting a new game I wanted to play the og. But today when I opened my 3ds and started it up I see this thing. I haven't dropped or anything. Is it dead pixels? Can it be fixed without changing the screen? Any kind of help is appreciated

Also I just realized that you can see the form while the 3ds is off
unfortunately this means the top screen was damaged. Maybe something heavy was on top of it, maybe it was dropped. regardless it isn’t too bad yet, live with it. eventually it will need a new top screen.
