Hi friends! My OG 2Ds has survived with me from elementary school to college no problems at all and literally just now is having some kind of hardware issue.
I set it down on my desk earlier and when I picked it back up the screen was white with grey lines across it. Then it turned itself off and when i booted it back up it had an extremely slow boot time and now the graphics are all washed out. The top screen is weirdly white and low contrast and the bottom screen is extremely high contrast. So much so that the map in Majora’s Mask doesn’t even show up on the touchscreen anymore. Also, now whenever I tap on the upper back of the console, it turns itself off/freezes and then shuts down. There is also a slight rattling when I shake the console.
Whenever this 2DS had a problem before i just played through it and it somehow would fix itself, but things are basically unplayable now so thought I would ask. If anyone knows what the problem is and has any video tutorial recommendations for how to fix it I would greatly appreciate it <3
