So my previous desk was a little bit too small so I set myself the goal of building my own desk.
Bought the benchtop from Bunnings and had to teach myself how to install the recessed LED's, had no idea what a router was a month ago.
Massive learning curve, with this. Learnt a lot from making this table it was a good learning process. Having to buy a plunge router for the rectangular LED's. Learning how to sand and all the different types of grit to use down to how many coats of clear coat to put on to protect the timber. This pretty much my first ever wood working project.
Installed 2 x powerpoints in each corner of the desk with usb outlets. Recessed LED's in the back of the desk too on a seperate strip so they stay as one solid glow while the rectangular LED recessed onto the face of the deck is a WS2811 type so they have heaps of different programmable modes fully adjustable or programmable as they can be super bright or dimly lit so they defintely add a bit of flair to the desk.
And after all this… I hardly feel like gaming anymore I have another project I want to tackle.
I wish I could upload more photos and videos as this one doesnt do it justice. The star setting on the LEDs is my favourite as random LED's in the rectangle will star to glow up and fade away.
