100% a show-off post! But I'm so happy to have finally gotten around to getting a 3DS so I can play all the games I always wanted to when I was little. The upgrade is actually crazy, I keep going back to my Lite and realising how dated it feels for certain games while I believe the 3DS holds up really well, especially as it has so many beloved titles!
I feel like everyone else has moved on to Switch 2 and all the new releases, while here I am playing Pokémon Moon for the first time and the 3D versions of the Zelda games. Side note: Am I the only one who loved Phantom Hourglass? Or did I just not have any other options at the time, haha… ALSO! I'm getting myself a Switch OLED in a few weeks after finishing my final exams, and I'm so excited to play BoTW and TotK! Maybe I'll catch up to the upcoming OoT on Switch 2 in 10 years 😛
Does anyone else have a similar experience to share? I wish that the 3DS lives on for as long as it can, I have hope that wonderful communities like this will help it to do so 🤍
