I was wanting to get an Xbox One X for the longest to retire my Halo 5 Xbox One.

I read an article about the system’s super sampling on 1080P for many Xbox One games. I don’t own a 4K TV at all. Yes, I’m that guy that still watched DVDs before going to Bluray. I just stream all my content now.

That aside, I found this used Project Scorpio Xbox One X for sale locally.

As you can see in the pictures; it came with it’s controller, original box, and other extras.

Just a One X with one controller sells between $150-$280 give or take the wear, included accessories, games, and packaging.

The console alone used is $200 for sure, I figured the extras were worth the $30. I also did not have to drive far, pay for shipping, and I paid cash.

Let me know what you all think.

I don’t plan on keeping most of the games. I figured some can be sold for $15. Easily making $120 back on the games alone. I have to check if the batteries work. Maybe sell that accessory for $10. I am giving the Razer headset to my younger brother after I clean the ear pads on it.

Guardians of the Galaxy is still sealed. That would sell well.

I already refurbished the console with a thorough cleaning and repaste.

I ordered the updated heatsink and fan, and thermal grizzly thermal pads for better cooling upgrades. I will give an update later this week.

As a used console, it’s hard to find one without scratches to the top plastic.

I was looking for a special edition over a plain black one. I would have opted for a Gears of War 5 console since it would hide scratches well. But I couldn’t find one complete for the same price.

If you all agree I should have gotten a Gears of War 5 console over this one, let me know. I was looking at the extras I could resell and make half of my money back.
