
It’s not as obvious as in other games, but it’s there. I was playing the demo docked and noticed monster noises coming from my left and right rear speakers.
I checked the game page on [Nintendo.com](https://Nintendo.com) and it isn’t advertised at all. There is no “Linear PCM” note that I usually see for other games that do have it.
This isn’t uncommon, though. There are many games on Switch that don’t advertise their surround sound capabilities for some reason, and Nintendo is annoyingly inconsistent with correctly advertising that games do have it. Most first party Switch games do have it, though.
This is a complete surprise and delight to me. I wasn’t expecting this game to have it at all, but it makes perfect sense. Now I’m even more excited to play the full game.
I would add this to the “5.1 Surround Sound Games On Switch” thread but all threads on here are locked after a year 🙁
