My gf got me back into this game recently. I wasn’t a big fan of it back on launch, but playing local zombies matches with her really got me to appreciate a lot of what this game was going for. So I decided to hop into the PvP and grind out some weapon skins and stuff to bring into the zombies mode.
Imagine my shock when I found that every other game has someone with an invincibility + invisibility hack in it. It’s not as overwhelming obnoxious as it is trying to play any Xbox 360 CoD game today, with people maxing out your XP and having unlimited killstreaks, among other things. But it’s bad enough that it’s sapping all of the fun out of this game. I didn’t think cheating really existed on Xbox One games (well, apart from anything that has cross play with PC lol), so this majorly caught me off guard.
What’s weirder is that Advanced Warfare, Infinite Warfare, and WW2 have been hacker free in my attempts to try those games again, so I’m not really sure why this one game is so overwhelmed with them. Needles to say, I’ve reported every single one I’ve come across, but it seems like Xbox/Activision/Treyarch doesn’t care about it. Maybe because the game is so old. All of these people are max prestige and have hundreds of hours on this game, and tons of other games and gamerscore on their profile, so I doubt they’re going anywhere any time soon.
Just sucks that this game is impossible to revisit and have a great experience with it in 2023. Oh well

The red floating orb is from the game mode we were playing, but it’s the only visible thing on him because of the cheat, and he wasn’t able to be killed from that point on. You’ll find 1-2 of these guys in every single match
