Specifically, almost everything that has to do with the functionality of the Playstation store pages within the PS App is downright bad. It is very obvious that the current redesign of the app is one that favors aesthetics over functionality and ease of use. Here are several issues that I’ve run into when using it:
1. **PS Plus free games not accurately displaying that they are free** – I noticed this today when checking to make sure that I snagged the free January offerings. Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which should be free, shows up as $15 when I [pull it up](https://i.imgur.com/KCz4Trm.jpg). I had to bring it up on my PS4 to be able to get it for free.
2. **The app does not display product names in plane text- only the cover art and price** – Seriously, how hard is it to include the product name in simple, easy to read text right above the price instead of leaving it up to the user to try to figure what it is they’re being shown based on the cover art alone? Sometimes the wording on the cover art is either super tiny or in a difficult to read font. Take “11-11 Memories Retold” [for example](https://i.imgur.com/ug7aiKE.jpg). Can you read that, because I can’t!
3. **Game duplicates are shown constantly when scrolling through deals** – There’s nothing like scrolling through a bunch of games in the app and having them immediately pop up again, [am I right](https://i.imgur.com/uAViNXM.jpg)? And no, these are not different versions of those games.
4. **Purchased games are MISSING from the library** – I checked the [PS App](https://i.imgur.com/isnsQ3D.jpg) to make sure I had Hitman 1. Now compare that to my library shown on my [PS4](https://i.imgur.com/g8eVzDL.jpg) which shows that I do, in fact, own it.
I’m sure there’s a whole load of other issues with the PS App, but these are just some of the biggest offenses that come to mind. Simply put, it’s a bad experience.
