
Be wary, Xbox shoppers, of the Series 2 warranty replacement from Microsoft. The bumpers of my original Series 2 were breaking (no drops, no external damage) and ordered the replacement. It took 2 weeks to receive the new controller once sending it off. Upon opening the box for the replacement, the replacement is pretty dirty/grimy and the right stick gets stuck when pressing forward (it came out of the packaging box like this- yikes). Called the Warranty department and they were not helpful saying it could take another 5-10 days to receive another replacement.
TLDR- Don’t buy the warranty from Microsoft, you won’t get a like (or sometimes usable) controller back.
