Just bought a Xbox series, need help!!!

Just bought an Xbox series s, been a PlayStation fan since PS1 and all ready having a bad time. I can’t get my game pass to work (the 3 month trial thing that comes with Xbox) please can anyone help?? Can’t find any real help on google
