They fixed the input lag! Some of you called me a mad man when I posted my videos highlighting the input lag. But now even Shiftup acknowledged it.

      Well, it wasn’t real input lag, but a deliberate choice to have a delayed animation in spite of registering the input right away. So both sides were half wrong or half right.

      If it would have been real input lag, they probably wouldn’t have been able to change it that easily.

      It’s good either way and shows they are open about it and listen.

      I am glad I wasn’t going crazy. The game felt as clunky as the original Dark Souls to me, which isn’t normal for a modern title with this degree of polish.

    3. Way more fluid. I was able to parry strings of combos from enemies I had never encountered before!

      The weird parry timing is why I could never get into parrying in the Souls games. I think it should always be just as the attack is about to land. No wind up, no animation, just observation and simplw rhythm.

    4. So annoying how people in this sub were straight up refusing this was the case lol.
