Bought this controller new in January 2024. Last night it’s working as expected but this afternoon when I logged in it was having all sorts of erratic behavior. I looked up examples of stick drift and it doesn’t seem to really match what others see. When I was able to get a game to launch, Doom2. The left analog stick seemed fine as I was about to look around without issues. But the weapons would fire without input from me which is the right trigger. Nothing seems out of place with the right trigger, doesn’t feel broken, no friction, it’s clean. And the menus in doom2 worked fine.
I then connected the controller to my iPad. Loaded up Pac-Man. Seems fine there. I’ve rebooted the Xbox a couple of times. Even unplugged it for a moment to make sure. I also paired the controller again with the Xbox. Same behavior.
Here is a video when I was on the main dashboard. Any ideas?

Prolly still stick drift. Id assume that the deadzones on a ipad are a bit different then the ones on a xbox. Im not sure tho
It’s not uncommon for shoulder buttons to stick. Might try clicking them a few times to see if it helps if that doesn’t work take the batteries out then put some alcohol behind the shoulder buttons and click them a bunch to work the alcohol in. then let it dry and see if it resolved the issue
