Here's a vid I made recently about improving the vWii's video quality, it covers overscan and sharpness/Deflicker settings. I made this because I struggled to find resources on these issues and even found some sites/posts saying there was "no fix" for overscan.
The only problem I have is that I’m unable to upgrade from r1271 to r1281. When I do, it hangs at “initializing devices”. I’ve tried deleting `GXGlobal.cfg` and also doing a completely clean install – but it still hangs in the same place.
I also tried changing the launcher cIOS from 249 to 58, 250 and 251. In all three cases it would launch, but no games could be found on the HDD.
I’m currently running d2x-v11beta1-vWii (rev 21011) on vIOS249[56], vIOS250[57] and vIOS251[58] as well as the USB 2.0 patch (rev 6432) on vIOS58.
If I go back to r1271 then everything works as it should.
