It's Track 6 out of 7 on an old Fisher Price yellow tape from around 1984, but it sounds really familiar, like a version of it might have been used in a Nintendo game or something. Maybe I'm mistaken but it's been bugging me.
Apparently the tune's called "Il court, il court, le furet" which translates as "He runs, he runs, the ferret". Thanks!

It’s a classic french children song, you could have heard it in a cartoon or movie or tv ad, but I really doubt it was in a Nintendo game 😛
To my ear, it sounds like something from Sonic the Hedgehog, like classic SEGA
I can’t think of it specifically being used, but I feel like it has a similar flavor to the music from Sonic the Hedgehog.
