When I'm on Twitter (I refuse to call it X), I see a lot of positive reviews and reactions to the Neo S from CRKD.
I mean, I liked the CRKD Nitro Deck. It really elevated my handheld Switch experience. Only the d-pad is a bit disappointing, but overall, a good product. This past weeks I've been using the Neo S controller from this brand, mainly on my Nintendo Switch, but I just don't feel it. The controller itself has a nice build quality and an unique exterior, but other than that — why do people like this thing?
Not only isn't a very comfortable thing to hold, the sticks also have a slight delay between input and output. The shoulder buttons aren't really comfortably accessable when you're trying to use the sticks, and the buttons in the middle feel to far away. The collectable aspect is nice, but only when it is a bonus. I get the feeling it's the whole shtick of this company. Just make some collectable gear and pray that people with fomo will buy it because of the looks and the chance of a 'rare' version (which you can check within the app).
What do you think? Did you buy one yourself and what are your experiences?

I’ve never seen that before but why would you buy it when the pro controller exists
I don’t think it’s meant to be comfortable. What it is is a more comfortable “classic” controller, kind of like what the 8bitdo Lite was. Personally I’m not getting one simply because it doesn’t come in black.😅
Anyway, I don’t think it’s really getting a lot of hype. Only those people who are paying attention to it (mostly the reviewers) know what it is.
So I just got mines in last week and been using it moreso on my Mac for emulation. I like the aesthetic and I personally went with the retro gold model. I have a trip coming up where I plan to take it for use with my switch. I dont really like traveling with my pro controller and thought the form factor of this controller would be easier to pack in my bag.
Ultimately its a decent product, definetly not a replacement for the pro controller by any means, but i don’t even think its marketed to be such. The color I have the one OP posted are really the only ones I like but thats just my opinion. If they made more design choices I could see these becoming a rival to the 8bitdo.
I also noticed the input lag when on my switch, I was watching a review of it yesterday and CRKD actually commented on that video and said a fix would be available this week. Lets see how true that is.
It seems like crkd influences reviews from some main reviewers. IGN for example, some have nothing bad to say about their stuff while other point out the obvious flaws.
