My wife and I both love it. It's fun, it's casual, it's intense at times, it's got no pay-to-play BS other than buying it. Huge fan here. Definitely looking forward to more games from Shift Up.

Excessive how?
It’s not surprising given how very few PS5 titles there are.
I think people gave stellar blade such a high score to signal to the industry that they want games like this and they’re tired of the same shit. Not just games with “hot jiggly babes” but games that are new IPs, bug free, solid frame rate, shorter length, with no micro transactions, NG+ at launch/for free, etc.
9.3 is absolutely excessive.
I can already imagine completionists hating the amount of collectibles in this game and the story is solid at best. And only a few sidequests are that interesting.
I mean I love the game but I think he’s right. It’s not the best PS5 game ever made. Definitely up there and the most unique, but eh, I’m more a Returnal and Demon’s Souls guy. Definitely REALLY close tho.

Wow gamers actually like a polished and finished product on launch? I think stellar blade is just a breath of fresh air as it’s 99% bug free 1400p or higher 60 fps and a complete package. It’s definitely better than any garbage ubisoft and ea have put out over the last 5 years and a much smoother experience then ff7 rebirth and dragons dogma so personally I think it’s deserved where it sits.
