My ideal would be full-blown Red Sonja / Eva Marie hair. Here's my ranking of the "red" options available.

Vacation. Brightest overall color, but, you do have to be OK with the pixie cut. The hair is not pulled back into the pony but it looks fine in combat. This is my go-to.

Kasim's Signature. Pulled back pony, at cost of slightly less vivid color. However, you need to be OK with the dense bangs and hair clip, which aren't my favorite.

Tied: Planet Diving Tail and The Cutest are pulled back ponies but they aren't redheads, they are magenta dye jobs. But if you have to have the pulled back pony and can't stand the hair clip, they are available.

Tied: Princess of Xion and Daughter's Memories have really visible bobs that make the pony look rather bad, imo. But if you can deal with that, the colors are OK.
In my opinion the rest that have a "red" option don't make the cut, they are either too brown or too blonde to be red.
I know cosmetic DLC is a trope but I'd love to see more pulled-back pony bright red options with various fringe styles in the future!

I liked the red of Kasim’s Signature the most, it reminded me a lot of Kasumi from Dead of Alive. Though the whole redhead issue can be solved if the hair colors were universal across all styles instead of being stuck with just 4, cuz I’d really prefer the red of Daughter’s Memories with Kasim’s Signature style or the Cutest style.
