So https://vimm.net/vault/19282 got all their Nintendo rooms taken down by Nintendo. So we just lost ANOTHER site to preserve the games that Nintendo refuses to re-release. All I can say now is I hope they have a damn plan to re-release thse damn games at the very least! These are VERY rare games! I'm getting sick of this Nintendo shutting down preservation websites! Ugh. Ya know what will fix this? Not buying Nintendo games! We stop buying them… they will have no choice BUT to start changing thir business practices. Especially with preservation. Only reason sites like these exist is because companies won't preserve their games…. except Xbox. For some weird reason. Idk why. But yeah… another rom site is down. Again. Thankfully these games aren't entirely lost tho. And I am hopeful their NSO app gets more games. But that's basically wishful thinking. This is why I support Sega, valve, and Microsoft. Yes, Microsoft. Because those three preserve shit.

New sites will always pop up and die as they become too popular. It’s just the cycle. A new site already likely exists where you can download Mario Bros don’t worry.

Jesus, this one hurts. Vimm’s been around for DECADES, it was my go to for NES roms back in the early 00s. How did it fly under the radar for this long?!
Nintendo ROMs are FAR FAR easier to find that any Xbox ROMs, or PS3 ROMs and nobody’s crying for that
Preservation wont go anywhere (and considering the rumors of the Next switch having BC, even less)
