Red dead online is never going to get the attention it deserves even more so now that GTA 6 is on the way with I’m assuming a new online

Unfortunately, it is way past time to move on.
Loved RDO, but it never and will never reach its potential. It didn’t even begin to walk.

Does the sales not prove we need a 60fps patch?

Worst online game I’ve ever played, solely because of the incel/Red Pill player base.

Had immense potential but they didn’t do jack shit with it and clearly didn’t care from the start. The fact that there was an exploit to get infinite money and premium currency that didn’t get patched for months is ample evidence. It lasted pretty much from when I started playing RDO to when I stopped.
I have zero faith in Take Two to actually make a fun online experience.

Not in comparison to how much GTAO is which is why they’ve abandoned RDR.

I never quite understood why they didn’t give it the attention. It could’ve easily been a cash cow like GTA:O. All I can think is they felt it needed more online story based content, whereas with GTA they can easily put out good missions with little real story.

How are you promoting a 5-year old game from a company notorious for delaying game releases
Like people paid you that kind of money/made you those sales so you could use the money to produce even better stuff, not just stuff your pockets and keep selling the same game because promotions from fans who liked regular new releases made this game popular.

It’s a ps4/xbox one game that is fucking beautiful. Rockstar should pay more attention to it.

The expected ROI from investing their resources fully into GTA6 and the next GTA online is probably a better bet for them.

It’s not about sales… It’s about the microtransactions and unfortunately a cowboy period piece only has so much you can do with it..
Unlike GTA where once you’ve sold super cars enough times.. you can move onto flying bikes.
