Works on pretty much every boss, practically infinite stunlocks them, and absolutely shreds their shields.

That’s how I go about it. Or just spam light and heavy attacks.
You barely did actual damage… the other moves do more direct damage to health
I do △△△△△△△△ and at the end it does the same amount of damage as L1+△
Every attack in that mode stunlocks the enemy. Yeah, you can spam that attack for some extra damage, but personally I’d rather look stylish combining different attacks instead.
