What do you think of the way Nintendo handled the Wii System Transfer for Wii U?

To me, the way Nintendo handled the transition from the Wii to the Wii U made it feel like this grand, epic leap forward for Nintendo. It was like a huge new technological advancement, and you were bringing your backlog along for the ride.
