I just arrived at the Great Desert after clearing Matrix 11 then going back and doing all available side quests for Eidos, Xion, Wastelands, and I'm sitting at 44 hours. I haven't lollygagged too much after finding an ideal load out. Haven't read any spoilers but I figure there's got to be more than 10 hours of content left. Howlongtobeat is usually pretty accurate so I wonder.

Well for starters to get the platinum you will need to do at least one more playthrough. If done on Ng+ there are new collectibles as well. You can rush through the story pretty quick on a second play through to get the alternate endings so yea 54 seems accurate enough.
I just did it in 18.5 hours and can easily beat that.
Edit: oh it was my 4th time running NG from scratch though, 45-50 for first time is about normal.
