A month back I asked how to fix sticky buttons on a Wii U game pad and decided to start today. Most people said to open it up and clean the buttons. Does this mean to clean each plastic button or clean the button panel that makes them work? There aren’t many Wii U game pad opening videos so help would be appreciated! (Image is NOT my Wii U game pad)

Look at each bit: if it’s dirty, clean it?
Look around the hinges and sides of buttons where gunk might sit between the button and the hole in the case.
You probably don’t need to poke around the actual circuit boards unless the buttons don’t register well rather than the mechanism being sticky.
