– MacBook Pro M3 Max 16/40 64GB (my main machine – barely visible in space black under middle monitor)
– WIndows Desktop 7950X, 128GB RAM, dual 4090’s (under desk, basically used to offload my codes to run on the 4090’s, I don’t usually work directly on it)
– iPad Pro M1 12.9 (just for casual use when waiting for codes to run or for taking notes)
Peripherals:
– Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse for the Mac (yes I like the Magic Mouse, I’ve tried the MX master, I know I am weird haha)
– Generic peripherals for the desktop
– Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil for the iPad
Monitors:
– 2x 32” UHD Samsung (main monitors)
– Dell 27” 1080p vertical monitor (looks awful with the Mac scaling)
My use case is research in ML/AI and mathematical modeling.
Will change office in a few months. Thinking of getting Samsung G9 Neo 57” Ultrawide instead of 2 separate 32” monitors. Not sure yet.
What do you guys think, what would you change?!
