After about 90ish hours, I platinum’d Stellar Blade and yeah, it was an amazing game! Seriously, a solid 8/10. In comparison to Nier Automata(or replicant) the combat of SB was, in a word, stellar. Learning to perfect parry each and every boss was immensely satisfying. Customization is another huge win over Nier as their are so many outfits(plenty of skimpy ones😏) and the ability to customize your hairstyle. General exploration is also a decent step up from Nier as it adds a lot more to see and do. Collectables are roughly equal. Finding cans was super fun and fishing was serene. The reason why I say it’s equal to Nier is due to a lot of the data logs being mostly the same in terms of content.
Stellar Blade is however, only a solid 8/10. What it focused on, it did very well. However, unlike Nier, the story and characters were, to put it gently, bland. From beginning to end, I couldn’t find it in myself to care about the stories, the characters, the side stories, or any of the side npc’s. I only cared about Eve but that care was a modicum at best.
The music was a good highlight and gave a lot of HELL YEAH vibes but rarely did it ever felt meaningful. Grand desert by far had the best and most meaning theme.
If there is going to be a sequel, story and character building should be a must focus.
(Also, sexy activities like pole dancing JK not serious but totally am serious please Shift Up)
TLDR: Stellar Blade is a great game with stellar combat and fun exploration. However, it pales in comparison to Nier in almost every way, with the exception to combat and exploration. Despite its lacking story and characters, I would highly recommend playing it at full price.

This is about what I feel about the game. The story definitely had potential. The side missions were just repetitive. Would have been nice to save more than 2 people.
They needed the Nikke writers to make the characters a bit more interesting 😔
