Just realized that the 3DS batteries no longer sold on nintendo.com, same ones used for the Switch Peo Controller. Now having to resort to 3rd party batteries for those controllers.

Yep I bought a backup earlier this year since I figured this would happen sometime after online shut down. Not surprised they’re gone.

Glad I got a new one 2 years ago.
I got one back when the eshop shutdown was announced cause I knew it was only a matter of time. Tbh I’m kinda surprised they took this long to run out.
I kept putting off buying one knowing this would eventually happen. I sort of regret it, but IFixIt has batteries for sale so it’s not all bad.
Seems like a strange move if they’re still using the same batteries for pro controllers.
