I just got the ps plus extra and I would like to make the most of it. What would you say are the games that I definitely have to try? From the pass I have only played Uncharted 4, Bloodborne and eldest souls. I am open to any type of games. By the way, sorry for my bad English, I'm using translator. There are multiple amazing games In extra not just one so let me give you a list of some of my favorite games
1- Red Dead Redemption 2 absolutely amazing game 9/10 would recommend
2- Alan Wake 1 remastered absolutely fire game 7-8/10 confusing but great story but the gameplay brings it down a little
3- GTA San Andreas another absolutely legendary game gameplay is a little flat but the story makes it all worth it 8/10
4- Control ultimate edition another absolutely amazing game made by the same people who made Alan Wake the game this time is amazing and the story is really damn good 9/10 this one recommend to literally everyone
Now all these are pretty mainstream except Alan Wake and control but these should help you get introduced into more games

God of War
Red Dead Redemption 2

Something different to suggest here: Midnight Sons was pretty good
Returnal is amazing. Also FF7 Remake and Resident Evil 2 Remake.
