They are only on the special edition controllers the stock ones don’t have them

I feel like the special edition controllers for Xbox One had them. My Gears 5 controller has them but my red Xbox one controller does not. My Halo Infinite controller for the Series X has the grips

I think it’s only for some of them then, my stellar shift has them but my other two standard ones don’t

First controller I had with grips was the Forza edition Xbox One, so 2015?

My [Forza Motorsport 6 controller](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61AxgShE+LL._AC_UF1000,1000_QL80_.jpg) has rubber grips, but I’m not sure if it was the first one that had them.
