So I can put the monitors a bit closer to the wall if i position the monitor arm slightly more to the right. The problem is, if i do that, my monitor cables are too short and wont reach. Is it worth buying longer cables? Or is this fine?

I would go with the distance that is comfortable to you. I am using a 48 inch ultrawide and It sits closer to me than that. It should be all about your comfort.

That’s all preference really, depends on how close/far you want to be from the monitor. It looks good to me, and your desk looks pretty deep so they seem to be positioned well.

If you want the monitor pushed back more, I’d just get longer cables to make it work. But it really comes down to what you want to do and what works best for you.
I think either way would be fine. But this is your setup and you want it to work for you most importantly.
