Hot take: UI’s like this just prove to me that people who call the Switch UI boring aren’t saying that because it is boring persay, they just want themes. All these “UI redesigns” do is change ordering of icons, and then have an image of the game played for the background.

When I think of an interesting console UI, I think the original Xbox right at the top of my head. Cohesive theme that works together. Not too noisy, not too quite. Just right.
This ui reminds me of the ps4 ui.
