Two weeks since I beat this great game. Still think about it daily, but I have to speak on this.. The amount of cliffs, crates, boxes, platforms, ledges, boulders, rooftops etc that lead to absolutely NOWHERE was my biggest complaint. The Wastlenads was a prime suspect; scale a few boulders (as Eve completes her climbing animations) then you realize it's a dead end, and the collision clipping kicks in. Don't get me started on Xion, I drove myself mad trying to reach some of those upper areas. Every area is guilty of this and it was a pain in the ass. In my pic for example, that fishing spot gives you the impression you can climb up, but the code just isn't there. Also Digger's first spot, that area below… You see a little (or large) area that seems completely accessible, but it's not, way too often.

Amazing game, with alot of worthy praise, I'll play any sequel or DLC in a heartbeat, but as far as flaws, this was a big one for me.

Yeah, I certainly hope there are more accessible areas to diversify ways to reach places. In Xion, I remember the only rooftop accessible is the one with the crate, would have been fun hopping around Xion by the rooftops.

But then, there are also quicker ways to reach Arin in the Buddha side quest by jumping on the rocks rather than making a big detour. So I guess at the end of the day it’s up to the developers.

    2. Wasteland was where the traversal issues really came to the forefront. I was trying to get to a loot and enemy nest behind a locked gate, right next to Altess Levoire and I must’ve fast traveled and backtracked for a half hour so I could find an approach point to climbing points that lead to the other side. Being a map filled with deadend cliffs to instakill drops didn’t help.
