Anyone find it weird that we have to wait for the actual release to find out who’s developing every Nintendo game? Can you image if Sony made a new IP and no one knew that Naughty Dog was developing it until it launched?
Weird Nintendo decisions, I guess.

I thought Next Level Games was making this.
This and Forever Entertainment means that Nintendo is keeping their own studios working on new projects rather than having them do the Ports/Remasters themselves like all the Wii U to Switch Ports.
Although that means they end up being very barebones, just being a HD port instead of a practically having a total visual overhaul like Metroid Prime or Xenoblade Chronicles were (I hope DKC Returns has all those graphical details fixed before released, Forever Entertainment doesn’t have the best track record).

That explains why it’s so good. The SS remaster is my gold standard for that sort of thing.

Skyward Sword HD is legit. I will buy Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD as well. Quality is quality.

Haven’t heard from Tantalus in a while, good to see them pop up again. That’s one studio i want to see do more Nintendo work, especially on Switch 2.
Maybe we’ll get a version of PDX’s Cities Skylines remastered with all DLC on the Switch 2?

They also did Twilight Princess HD.
Seems like a pretty good port studio.

Gonna get downvoted for this, but that kinda tracks. They’re both pretty low-effort HD upscales with essentially no new content launching at full price. Like, compare the graphics update from SS to SSHD to TP to TPHD. SSHD and LMHD really don’t look great, especially compared to their current counterparts on Switch. Imagine getting LM2 on Switch with the same graphics and detail of LM3. But nope.

But can you invert Y?

I’ve only played this first game on GameCube when I was a kid. Does anyone recommend the second one? I’ve seen mixed reviews. Thanks and smoke weed everyday ☺️
