Not exactly new here, but I've owned a One S since April 2022, copped a Series S last week.
I must start by sayin' I was amped to port to the next gen consoles, considering games getting discontinued for the last Gen consoles, and on top of that my One A had an issue where it resets but shows me the troubleshoot screen first occasionally @ boot, so I needed a new console.
First thing I noticed unboxing my new console was the size. I been hearing stuffs, seeing reviews and stuff, but boy! was I expecting that size? I'm amazed how something that small packs enough power to run next gen titles, I'm in love with it's Size.
Switching between apps feels snappy, that goes for my Spotify. Edge seems to hold my active tabs alot more longer.
When it comes to load speed, well 🤷🏾‍♂️. Most games I own are last Gen titles with few of 'em porting to the next gen, but I must say, the boot up speed is impressive. Still some wi-fi bugs. This very thing made me think my wi-fi card on the One S was faulty, shocked to see it still happens on the Series. I believe this is due to the latest update trying to save wi-fi networks. It wouldn't display available networks in the area (sometimes)

Now the biggest and most amazing part for me in my upgrade, is "Quick-Resume"🤩🤩.
F*** all that Sony gimmick bull****, Quick-Resume isn't getting enough recognition. Like….I can't explain, it's crazy. I unplug my console. Leave a room for another, Unplug my external HDD, and I'm still able to run games off my external drive, not even internal!!! Like…. it's crazy.

So far it's been nothin' but love. Other than quick Resume though, doesn't look to me that last Gen consoles should stop getting supported. I mean, MK11 is graphically impressive still on the One S, same goes for Ori and some other notable title.
