About that streetpass crush…

A bit of context. I don't know if you remember the StreetPass feature on the Nintendo 3DS. Basically, when you had the console in sleep mode and passed by someone else who also had a 3DS, both consoles would exchange information. More specifically, the users' Miis.

So, I recently dusted off my old console and entered the Mii Plaza just to remember all the people I had crossed paths with. That’s when I remembered the first time I "connected" with someone via StreetPass.

I think I remember going to a shopping mall, and suddenly the console received a Mii from a girl. I was 13 at the time, and I remember wanting to meet her so badly that I wandered around the mall for a while trying to identify someone who looked like the Mii (I didn’t manage to, haha).

I'm writing this as a testament to how such a small interaction can stay so present in someone's memories.

And who knows, maybe the girl in question will read this post someday.
