I would be concerned about it. I’m not sure the likelihood or if it’s even possible honestly, but I’d be worried that eventually the disc would shatter at high speed and your console will be bricked.
Someone who isn’t as dumb as me will have to tell me wether this is actually something to worry about though.

This sucks. My pristine copy of Marvel vs Capcom 2 was ruined this way. In time the cracks spread until one day, POOF! You hear horrible noise from DVD drive. Disc is in 1,000 pieces. Sucks bad.
