Modnation Racers is probably one of my favourite exclusives on PlayStation alongside Gran Turismo, Motorstorm, God of War etc. But I can’t help but feel that Modnation is one of many franchises that got an undeserved death in the gaming industry. I have no clue what caused the death of the franchise but a rerelease on PS4/5 or just a brand new game to the franchise would be a great addition to the library right now.
I feel like they can actually achieve anything with customisation now while maintaining good online servers and have a decent career mode. The developers may not exist anymore but I would like to see someone else give it a shot at making a new game. Like Polyphony for example but I doubt it sadly. What are your thoughts?
