Astro Bot’s PLATINUM Is PURE JOY!!!
I am trying to clean up my trophy list by getting the platinum and 100% for every game I’ve played. One of these games is Astro’s Playroom, which I played when I first got my PS5 and had lots of fun getting the platinum and 100% at the time. However, since then, they have added in brand new DLC trophies to promote the release of their new game, Astrobot. So, I thought instead of just making a really short video on just these DLC trophies alone, I would also get the platinum and 100% in Astrobot, combining them both into this one awesome video. So, Astrobot released last year in September on the PS5, developed by Team Aobe. And as many of you would already know, it won the game of the year. And the game of the year is Astrobot. This made me super excited to play it. Plus the fact that Astro’s Playroom was my first ever platinum and I loved it. So, I knew Astrobot would be even better. In terms of trophies, there are 44 to collect in the base game including the platinum. In the time since the game has released though, three DLCs have dropped with the first one, Stella Speedway, including six trophies. The second DLC, Winter Wonder, has three trophies. And the final DLC, Vicious Void, has five trophies. So that means in total there are 58 trophies for us to collect for both the platinum and 100%. Of course though, first we’re going to head back and get the five DLC trophies in Astro’s Playroom to obtain the 100%. So strap in, grab some snacks, and enjoy the trophy journey. To start things off, we actually have to head all the way back to June last year. As this is when I found out about the new trophies that had been added to Astro’s Playroom, and I wanted to get my progress back up to 100%. So, I redownloaded the game and hopped back in. And this is where I got the message telling me about the new update along with a hint on how to get the first trophy. Before doing that though, I decided to do some exploration. And I found the new secret Labo which included a portal to the mission room which had a countdown of the days until Astrobot was to release. And this is also where I could keep track of the four bots I had to rescue for the trophies. Back to the secret lab though. This meant there were a bunch of new artifacts that I could get from the ga machine. So using the remaining coins I had, I was able to buy six new artifacts. Unfortunately, one of them was a can though, so that was a waste of money. This meant I only had two artifacts remaining. So despite there not being a trophy for this, I still decided to go and collect the final 200 coins so I could officially have all the artifacts unlocked again. So now that I had collected all of those, it was now time to move on to the first trophy. So I headed to the level render forest in GPU jungle. And I’m not going to lie, I just wanted to get these trophies done. So I could not be bothered figuring out the riddle myself. So I used a video guide at the time. What I had to do was head to this location where a Bloodborne character was and then slowly sneak towards the edge of where this plant was and a brand new platform would spawn in showing the special bot. And as you can see, as I got closer, a clock appeared on the screen, which was the hint for how to rescue this bot. From there, I then had to parkour my way up these trees until I found a clock on the back of this tree. To access it, I had to press the options button on my controller of all things. And then I had to input the date that the old Hunter DLC originally released, which was the 24th of November, 2015. And doing this unlocked the bot and the trophy. Hunted down. Rescued special bot trapped in GPU jungle. First Ash’s Playroom trophy in over a year. Heading back to the mission room, I could now see that the bot was there. And I’m not going to lie, I’ve never played Bloodborne, so I didn’t know who this character was, but apparently her name is Lady Maria. Anyway, I was now super excited to rescue the other three bots. But then this is when I found out that none of the other trophies were actually attainable yet, as the other bots were not in the game. I found this out because I was looking on the PSN profiles forum and I saw a lot of people talking about the fact that none of the other bots were available yet and they were guessing that they would release every three or four weeks in the leadup to Astrobot. So, I made the executive decision that I was going to wait until all the bots had been released before finishing off the 100%. So, now we fast forward 10 months when I had finally finished the Far Cry franchise and I was ready to move on to completing Astro’s Playroom and then Astrobot. And so finally loading back in 10 months later, I got the updates that all the other bots had been added. So first up, I was off to Deep Data Space in the SSD Speedway. And once again, at this point, all the video guides had been released. So I was using those to get these bots. Once again, at a certain point in the level, all I had to do was slowly approach the edge, and the special bot appeared. And this time, it was Seline from Returnal, who I actually recognized because I have 100%ed that game. Anyway, in order to rescue her, I had to grab the nearby minigun and make my way through this next area, being careful not to kill these green goopy enemies. And then I had to parkour up top here. And as you can see, there is a small astronaut figure. So, all I had to do was stand on top of it and get hit by an enemy, causing me to respawn in and rescue Seline. Obviously, in a reference to the roguelike elements of Returnal. Deja fuel rescued special bot trapped in SSD speedway. Let’s go. Following that, I realized they had actually added a few more artifacts to the gacha lab. So, I decided that I was going to save my coins whilst I was going for the other bots to once again finish off all the artifacts. Anyway, this meant we were now off to bot beach in Cooling Springs. In order to make this bot appear, I had to walk on these starfishes in a specific order. Two. Three. Okay. I don’t know how you meant to like figure this out without a guide, to be honest. Hey, there we go. Oh. Oh, it gives you the map there. Okay. And this spawned in the Grand Turismo bot. And as I briefly mentioned, the hint is a map. From there, I had to head around to the other side of this location where underneath a shell, I was able to find a steering wheel. And all we got to do is hit the options. There we go. Hear the car going. So, now we’re in the race. So, we’re going to go up, left, down, down, left, down, down, right, up, right, down, right, up, up, right, up, left, left. Hey, there we go. We did it. Gran Turismo driver. Let’s go. Grand Tourist rescued special bot trapped in Cooling Springs. Let’s go. We did it. That was a cool Yeah, that was a cool one. I I enjoyed that one. I then unlocked another artifact before moving on to the final location, Gusty Gateway in Memory Meadow. For this one, near the start of the level, I had to open up these two tightroppe areas. So then I could head back and grab this throwable item and carry it across the two tight ropes. Here we see two bots referencing Ape Escape. And down below you can see a blue cloud. And if you throw the item at it, it causes the special bot to appear who is actually an ape from Apes Escape. From there, you have to make your way through the level and parkour your way up to this tree here. And hitting it causes a banana to fall out. You are then able to pick it up with square. And then you have to make your way back to the bot. When you stand on this platform with the banana, it causes the ape to start dancing, and you have to copy its dance moves in order to rescue it. The floss is up. That’s the dab, isn’t it? That’s down. Yes. Now we got to do the carton. Surely that’s it. Hey, I think we did it. Yes. Let’s go. No escape. Rescued special butt trapped in memory meadow. And that means I should get the other trophy, please. Yeah, for the players. Rescued all four special bots. Time to go off to a new adventure. That’s right. I can now move on to Astrobot. Let’s go. 100% Astro’s playroom again. Following that, I did quickly go back and get the final artifact, though, meaning I now officially had all the artifacts in the game again. So, I guess the in-game 100% was also complete. But now, with Astro’s playroom sitting at 100% again, it was time to enter the portal and begin Astrobot. So, of course, loading into Astrobot for the first time, I had to start up a new save file. So once the game starts, we get a cinematic setting up the story, which is a direct continuation of Astro’s playroom, which obviously all took place inside of Astro’s PS5. Well, now apparently the PS5 has turned into a spaceship, and we are exploring the galaxy with all our bot friends until we run into this big alien bully called Nebulax, who grabs our PS5 and starts tearing it apart. And once he sees the CPU, he decides to take that for himself. And in doing so, this causes the rest of our PS5 to fall apart and explode, sending each part in opposite directions along with all our bot friends. What’s left of the ship crashes on a nearby desert planet along with Astro himself. Luckily, our controller is also there, and we can use this to save Astro. After Astro is all good, we then see a satellite fall out of the sky and crash nearby as well. And this is where we are able to take control of Astro and we get a sort of short tutorial on how to play the game. And that is one thing I love about this game is the control system. It is so simple, meaning anyone can pick up and play the game and have fun. Anyway, upon reaching the satellite dude, he then blasts off into space and using the controller, we are able to follow him. And this is where we are introduced to the space map, aka the place where we are able to select what level we want to play. And the satellite dude scans our first galaxy for us, which is called the Gorilla Nebula. Upon entering the galaxy, we see Nebula with the CPU, but he runs away. But this does open up a bunch of new worlds/ levels we can now play. And the first world up was Sky Garden. And this world acts as a sort of extended tutorial as we are introduced to our first type of collectible, the bots, and our first trophy. Hey, who are you? Do we hit him? One bot down. Rescued your first bot. Wait, what? Who’s this guy? He’s just a normal bot. Before long, I had also found my second bot. And then I found the other type of collectible, which of course are the puzzle pieces. And I got my second trophy. Hey, a puzzling start. Found your first puzzle piece. Let’s go. Shortly after that, I found my third bot. But this is when I realized that the yellow PlayStation icon above the bot means that this will be a special PlayStation or video game character bot. Oh, yo, it’s it’s Ratchet. Yo. Oh, so toolled up mechanic. His little buddy has got his back. Oh, that’s sick. This meant that the next bot I found was also another PlayStation character. This time it was Rivet. And I have actually platinum Rift Apart. So, it was really cool seeing these two as my first special bots. Following that, I got a taste of the variety that this game has to offer, as there are plenty of unique powerups that are new to this game. For example, this inflatable octopus powerup, which allows you to float up in the sky and then control your descent back down, which allowed for some really cool platforming areas. Not long after that, I found my fifth bot. But this is when I realized that I had actually missed a bot. Luckily though, just like Astro’s Playroom, this game has builtin PlayStation hints. So, when you open up the PlayStation menu, you can view the game hints pop-up card, and then you can watch a video showing you where the missing collectible is. This means I technically don’t have to search up a collectible guide online, as I can find all the information here on my PlayStation, making getting all the collectibles actually really easy and helpful. And so, as it turns out, I somehow missed a really obvious bot just floating on the water. So, I just had to backtrack a little to get that bot. I then continued on with the level and found the final puzzle piece and the final bot. And so with that, the first world was 100% complete. And so backing out into the galaxy, all of our bots headed back to the crash site and we unlocked the next two levels. I decided to head back to the crash site as an exclamation mark was telling me to go back there. And so now returning back to the crash site, the PS5 comes back alive and using the remaining of its power, it is able to transform the crash site into our brand new hub world where we can keep track of all of our collectibles. And this is important as I was going to have to collect every single bot in the universe to get all the trophies. I was also going to have to find every single puzzle piece in order to unlock every single building. Anyway, I was now able to explore the crash site. And exploring around, I found these beacons, which allow you to call for bots to help you complete a task. And in this case, I needed two bots in order to help me lift this rock off of Lady Maria. So then we unlocked her as a bot. In continuing to explore, I was able to do this same task with the three other bots that we rescued in Astro’s Playroom, which now meant in total that I had 11 bots unlocked, meaning I could start completing some of the bigger tasks that required more bots. And these tasks always resulted in more bots being rescued or a new puzzle piece being found. And whilst I was going for this specific puzzle piece, I noticed that the bots were making a tower so I could get up to collect it. And I remembered that there was a miscellaneous trophy for hitting a bot while they were in a bot tower. Pretty sure there’s a trophy for like knocking Hey, keep it together. Knocked a bot out of a bot tower without it collapsing. Yeah, I knew that was a trophy. I’ve seen seen other YouTubers get it. I can’t lie. Anyway, with the crash site fully explored, it was now time to head back to the Gorilla Nebula and continue on with the next world, which was Creamy Canyon. And here I actually found my first photo spot opportunity which is related to a trophy. Unfortunately though, I have not unlocked the camera yet. So, we’ll come back to that later. But for now, I continued on with the level where I found Solid Snake along with some other Metal Gear characters. I’ve never actually played any of the games, so let me know if I should. Anyway, towards the end of the level, I noticed that I had missed a bot, and I still hadn’t figured out what this swirly icon thing was. So, in the end, I just found the second last spot and finished the level. And exiting the level, I could see that the planet now had a blue flag next to it, meaning we had completed it, but we had not 100%ed it yet. But before I could replay the level, I noticed that a UFO was flying around with a puzzle piece, and then an asteroid spawned in, which actually unlocked my first secret level. These levels usually only have one bot to unlock, and they usually consist of some sort of more difficult or unique platforming or combat section. For example, on this level, I had to complete the whole platforming section with this ball character in order to reach the end and get the bot. So, I knew I was going to have to keep an eye out for these extra events that occur in the galaxies if I wanted to collect every bot and puzzle piece. Following that, I decided to head to the next level, Aztec Trail, where I was able to use these new power-ups that were frogs that you could use as boxing gloves. I don’t know, they were pretty cool. Anyway, I also found one of the coolest references to a PlayStation character in this level, too. Oh, is that Wumper? Yo, it’s Wamper. Oh, it’s Crash. Yo, what’s up, Crash? I know you too well, bro. Spinning marupial, not to be confused with a naughty dog. Yeah, cuz Crash was originally made by Naughty Dog. That’s so cool. Obviously, I’ve done all the Crash games, so very well verssed with good old Crash. Continuing on in the level, I noticed that there was this suspicious wall that seemingly looked like a door to somewhere. And through some experimentation, I noticed that I could destroy these torches. And sure enough, as soon as I destroyed the fourth and final one, a door opened up leading to a disco ball. Well, it turns out this is what that swirly icon means. It is a secret exit in the level. And going through this warp portal takes us to a brand new galaxy, the Lost Galaxy, where we are able to play a bunch of brand new bonus levels. Obviously, to unlock each bonus world in this galaxy, though, we have to find the secret warp portals in each level that has one. And I thought it was very fitting that I found the first one in the level where I found Crash Bandicoot, as obviously in those games, you can also find secret exits to brand new levels. Honestly, these bonus levels were really awesome and a welcome addition to the game, as they were slightly shorter than main levels, but they still provided plenty of fun and unique gameplay features. But it did mean a whole new galaxy of finding more bots and puzzle pieces. So, I decided that each time I unlock one of these bonus levels, I would make sure to 100% complete it before heading back to the galaxy that I was on. This way, the galaxy was kind of being completed as I went, and I wouldn’t have to worry about coming back later to fully complete it. This did mean though that I had to head back to Aztec Trail in order to actually complete that level. And because I had already technically played the level, it unlocked me the ability to purchase the bird at the start of the level, so it would beep when I got nearby new collectibles. And this was totally worth it as I ended up finding Jack from Jack and Daxter, which I’ve never actually played the games, but I do recognize his character. And at the end of this level, I also came across my first mini boss. Now, not all levels have these, but when levels did, they were super fun, and I really enjoyed them. Anyway, after defeating the mini boss, I was now able to exit the level. And with the help of the collectible bird, I also was able to 100% the level. At this point, I noticed an exclamation mark at the crash site, so I decided to head back there where I got a lovely surprise. Look at how many we’ve got now. 32. Let’s go. So many of them. I knew it. Yes. Let’s go. License to spend. Open to the gacha lab. Yes, let’s go. Gacha Lab is open. Time to spend all those coins you’ve collected. Of course, the gacha lab acts the exact same as it did in Astro’s playroom. And for spending my first 100 coins to get a prize, I got a trophy. Hey, first prize. Collected your first gatcher from the gacha lab. Wrapping cloth. The gift wrap that keeps on giving. There’s 169 of these. Oh my goodness. What’s that? So, we need 16,900 coins. Damn. Okay, so this time around, instead of getting PlayStation artifacts, we are actually getting props or artifacts for our bots that we rescue. So, in order to get all 169 gatcher prizes, I would also need to find all the bots. And I would need to make sure that I am saving up my coins so I don’t have to grind later on. But for some reason, I still decided to spend the 200 coins in order to get the collectible bird to finish off Creamy Canyon. But even with the bird’s help, I still couldn’t find the secret portal. So, I ended up using the PlayStation help feature in order to watch a short video on how to get to the secret portal. And so, from this point onwards, I pretty much decided that instead of spending the 200 coins on a collectible bird, that might not even help me find all the collectibles if I don’t get close enough to them. And instead, I would just use the PlayStation game help in order to help me find all the collectibles on each level. Anyway, I ended up 100%ing the level Funky Fungi. But as I’m editing this video, I’ve just realized on this level, for some reason, my footage decided to go all weird and split straight through the middle. And now the top half of the screen is at the bottom and vice versa. So, sorry if the viewing experience is a bit weird for this next bit, but I headed back to the Gorilla Nebula and took on the next level, construction derby, where I got my first look at the massive gorilla that this galaxy is named after. I also got to use this brand new power up, this rocket powered dog, which allows you to boost horizontally for a little bit. Okay, I’ve kind of fixed the footage for this next bit, but shortly after getting the dog, I found this basketball hoop with some basketballs nearby. And so, of course, like any normal person, I decided to hit the basketball and try and aim for the hoop. Oh, hey. Um, jammer slammy. Um, jammer slammy slammy. I’m jammer slammy successfully dumped the basketball in construction derby. I didn’t even know that was a trophy. I just punched the basketball. After getting that trophy, I started up a new recording and it’s still doing this split screen thing. So, I’ll try and fix it, but that is why it still might look a little weird. Anyway, I made my way through the rest of the level where towards the end I started getting chased by the massive gorilla, but I was able to escape and this leads us into the big boss fight of this galaxy. Before doing that though, I did get the final puzzle piece I missed in construction derby. But now I was ready. And so I entered into Gorilla Laand. And once again, we get the dog power up to take down the gorilla, aka Mighty Chewy. And let me just say right now, the boss fights in this game are absolutely awesome. They are so cinematic and heaps of fun. Obviously, these boss fights aren’t super hard because this game is not designed to be hard, but that still doesn’t take away from the fact that these boss fights are really fun. Oh my god. Missing all his teeth now. Oh, poor guy. Oh my god. Oh, sorry, Mighty Chewy. It had to be done. Hey, fireworks. Let’s go. We did it. Oh, yeah. Give me the bananas. Oh, yo, it’s the I don’t know the character, but it’s Apescapable. I know who’s that. I don’t know the dude’s name. And so, this is one of the coolest features in Astrobot. Every time you beat a boss at the end of a galaxy, you are introduced to a PlayStation character, and then you get to head to the next world, which is themed after that character. And so in this case, it was Apes on the Loose. And during these levels, you actually get to take control of the character’s special abilities. And the level almost turns into an adapted version of the game it is based off. So during this level, we were pretty much playing Ape Escape. And our goal was literally to capture every single ape that was on this island. And of course, these apes also counted as bots rescued. This level was so much fun. And even at the end, we got a mini boss fight against this guy called Spectre, who I’m assuming is from Ape Escape, but I’d never heard of this character. Anyway, I was eventually able to capture him, and he was the final bot/ ape in the level. And this meant I could finally officially rescue my first ship part, Mothership’s Memory. We then take it back to the crash site where we get this fun little miniame where we are able to fix it up and reinstall it back into the PS5. Which of course netted me my next trophy. Push it in. Go, go, go. Yeah. Unforgettable. Recovered the mother ship’s memory. Hey, first one done. Following that, we see the satellite dude crash out of the sky again. And this unlocks us a new section of the crash site where with the help of our bot friends, we are able to collect more puzzle pieces and bots. Hey, Spyro, fiery artic artisan. Last spotted in the skylands. After doing all that exploration, I finally made it to the satellite dude. And hitting him once again reveals to us a brand new galaxy for us to travel to. But before heading there, I actually went back to Guerilla Nebula to get the last two bots that I needed. And to get these final two bots, I had to unlock their bonus levels by doing certain tasks in the galaxy. For example, destroying all these asteroids to unlock Retro Rampage 1. And these retro levels are really fun as everything is made out of voxels. though it is so destructible the environment and is just visually pleasing to look at. But to be honest, these levels aren’t really hard as in no time I had rescued the bot for this level. And then to unlock the final bonus level, I once again saw another asteroid flying around and this unlocked Crumble Rumble one. And these levels were once again really fun as they almost acted like Spafif as you had to destroy the ground beneath each enemy to kill them. But of course, this one was really easy. And I unlocked my final bot of this galaxy. Monkey C. Monkey rescue. Rescue all bots in Gorilla Nebula. Let’s go. And with that, I had 100% completed Gorilla Nebula, getting all bots, puzzle pieces, and secret portals. And so now it was time to move on to the next galaxy, the tentacle system. And pretty much it’s the same story as the first galaxy. We run into Nebulax again, but he escapes. And this means we have to take on a whole new bunch of worlds to make it to the boss of this galaxy. So I took on the first level, go Archipelago. And here I got to try out another new powerup, the monkey, which allows you to climb and grab things with his hands. And the bots in this world were a reference to the game Ieko, which I haven’t played, but I have completed Shadow of the Colossus, which is made by the same developers, and people theorize that it is a prequel to Ieko. Anyway, this level was super fun and there was even a mini boss against this giant skeleton pirate dude. And after defeating him, I was able to find the secret portal in this level. And this unlocked me the world light bulb limbo in the Lost Galaxy. And once again, this level had a really unique feature as you had to use this light bulb in order to reveal the path. I of course went on to 100% the level before heading back to GoGo Archipelago because I missed a puzzle piece right at the very start when you’re gliding in on the controller. From there, I could just quit out of the level and it would still save me getting the puzzle piece. So, I had now 100%ed it. From there, I moved on to Downsize Surprise. And honestly, this was probably one of my favorite levels as we got the mouse power up, which allows you to shrink down to the size of a mouse and also grow back up to normal size. So, this made for some really unique platforming parts, which allowed for some really unique ways to get some of the collectibles. And I was even able to find the secret portal without any guide help. So, once again, I was heading back to the Lost Galaxy, this time for the Vauxil bus stop world. And as I mentioned earlier with the other Vauxil level, these levels are just super fun as everything is so destructible and is super satisfying to break. And so with some guidance from the PlayStation help menu, I was able to 100% the level. And at this point, I had once again found enough puzzle pieces to head back to the crash site to unlock another building. That means we can build that. Eh, splash my dash. Open the dual speeder garage. The dual speeder garage is open. Get in and give your dual speeder a whole new look. Oh, nice. And so now this meant that I was now able to customize the look of my controller, which was a pretty neat feature. And in turn, this also meant that I could unlock new color schemes from the gacha lab. Also importantly, while I was in the gacha lab, I unlocked this artifact, the Rolling Star, which apparently is for the character known as the prince from the Katamari series, which I’ve never played. But this meant I could now unlock a trophy in the crash site. Oh, royally stuck. Got a little too close to a sticky sphere and crash crash site. I didn’t even know that was a I didn’t even know that was a trophy. Following that, I headed back to the tentacle system where I unlocked another bonus level. This time it was Crumble Rumble 2. And so I completed it. And I then went back to Downside Surprise to get the final bot and puzzle piece. From there, we move on to Trunk of Funk. And this world actually has a miscellaneous trophy for us as we have to use water to grow this sapling in order to turn it into a tree. And then all we have to do is keep spraying the tree while he’s singing until the trophy is ours. What’s up, bro? I’m pretty sure there’s a trophy for spraying him. So, hey, there we go. What is he saying? Splashed Puppet Tree’s face during his song. Let’s go. And directly after that trophy, I even found Deacon St. John from Days Gone. And I also got to use another brand new power up, the elephant, which allows you to suck up different types of materials and then place it down under your feet so you can complete platforming sections. So, again, another really unique feature. And at the end of the level, there was another mini boss fight. After completing the level, I hadn’t quite 100%ed it, but before I could go back and replay it, I saw another asteroid, which unlocked me Retro Rampage 2. So, I of course completed this. And for some reason, I decided to tackle the other world, Wormy Passage next, where I got to use the frog punching gloves once again. And the special bots in this level were actually based off of The Last of Us. And so first up, I found Ellie. Then I found Joel. And finally, I found one of the infected. Unfortunately though, I did miss a bot at the start of the level. After completing it though, I did decide to move on to the boss level, where of course, as the galaxy name suggests, we fought against an octopus known as Wacko Taco. And again, another really awesome boss fight as we were able to use the frog boxing gloves to our advantage. And the fight had plenty of different varying stages as well. At one point, he literally parts the sea and we have to parkour our way back to him whilst dodging the waves he is sending at us. We made it. Final knock. Holy crap. We sent him flying literally. Oh my god. Sent him flying into outer space. Oh, it is cr I was going to say is traders in the trailers. That’s sick. And that’s right. The special level in this galaxy is to do with God of War with the level actually being called Bot of War. And just like the Apescape level, we are given access to the character’s special ability. In this case, we get Kattos’s Leviathan axe, transforming us into the bot of war. And just like in God of War, we are able to throw the axe and call it to return to us at any point. So, this made for another really awesome and unique level. What’s back here? Oh, it’s like a reference to the loading screens. That’s so funny. Yo. Oh, it’s Thor on top. I forget what the What’s the snake called? I forget. It’s Thor, though. That’s Thor. Just like in the God of War games, I also had to keep an eye out for Odin’s ravens as I would have to collect all eight of these in order to get a trophy. Oh, it’s Bro. Oh my god. But why am I so bad with names? Smartest man alive. When it comes to wisdom, they’re always ahead. Oh, what’s Bro, I’m actually so mad at myself that I can’t remember these characters names. Why am I having such a m mind blank right now? Mamir. Mamir. That’s right. But I mean, he’s bro he’s great character. At the end of the level, there is even a mini boss fight against the need hog. Are you going to throw him? Yeah. Hey, we did it. Rescued ship part. Let’s go. Damn. Okay, so we missed one raven. That’s crazy. Mother ship’s SSD allow space travel faster than the speed of loading. So, unfortunately, I did actually end up only collecting seven out of the eight ravens. So, we would have to come back for the final one later. But for now, I could head back to the crash site, reinstall the SSD, and the next trophy was mine. Time to place it in. Come on. Hey. Hey. Solid performance. Recovered the mother ship’s SSD. Once again, following that, the satellite dude falls out of the sky, crashing into a new area of the crash site. However, before doing that, I decided to head back and 100% the tentacle system. So, with the use of the PlayStation help, I finished off the level Trunk of Funk and also Wormy Passage. After that, I only needed four more bots, but I was a little confused on how to get them as there were no more levels for me to play. And so, I did some messing around in this system, particularly with this circle of stars here. And doing so actually unlocked me the Lost Triangle Void. And by simply completing this level, I saved four triangles in total, which turned into four brand new levels for us to complete, each with a brand new bot to save. Now, I would say these levels are where the difficulty ramps up in this game, as most of the main worlds are fairly easy, but completing these PlayStation icon levels can be quite a challenge. Now, I wouldn’t say this is the hardest platforming that I’ve ever done in a game, especially when I’ve played games like Crash Bandicoot, but compared to the rest of Astrobot, these levels are definitely a lot more difficult. But that didn’t stop me from getting the final bot in this galaxy. Oh my god, there we go. Hey, Temptacular Spectacular. rescued all bots in tentacle system. With that, I had officially 100%ed the tentacle system, and it was time to rescue the satellite dude so I could unlock the next one, which turned out to be Serpent Starway. Nebullex once again runs away with the CPU, meaning we have to complete a bunch of worlds and also a final boss to get the next ship part. And first up was slow-mo casino. And in this level, I got to use another new power up, the clock, which allows you to slow down time for a small period. And this would come in very useful for getting a miscellaneous trophy in this level, which was for winning the jackpot on all the slot machines. And for some reason, I completely forgot I had the ability to slow down time. Do I have to try and time it? Oh no, I did it again. No. Are you kidding? I’m one off every time. Oh my god. What am I doing here? Yay. There we go. I thought that was a trophy. Oh, do we have to do it on all of them? Surely not. Wait, is that actually a trophy for doing all of them at the same time? Yeah. Stop time one. Oh, stop time. Oh my god, I’m so dumb. You can slow it down. Duh. And then you can win every time. Oh, I’m so stupid. Oh my god, bro. I forgot I had the power of slow-mo. Oh my god, I can’t believe I’m that dumb, bro. Hey, there we go. Hey, time to cash in. Stopped time and won the jackpot on all four slot machines in Slowmo Casino. Oh my god, I can’t believe I didn’t think of slowing down the time. I was trying to just time it, bro. Anyway, with that embarrassing moment over, I went on to complete the rest of the level and 100% it. From this though, I had unlocked enough puzzle pieces to head back to the crash site to get the next building. Hey, time for a change. Opens the changing room. Ah, and so just like the previous building, this one also allows for some more customization as I could now customize exactly how Astrobot looked by putting on brand new costumes. and I could unlock more of these outfits through the gacha lab. Anyway, with that done, it was now time to move to the next world, free Big Brother. And I really enjoyed this level as we got to free our big giant friend over here. However, before completing the level by climbing the giant, I first found the secret portal which unlocked the ghouls and bots level in the lost galaxy. I of course went on to 100% this level before heading back to free big brother to also 100% it. And this time I actually got to climb the giant where I found a really cool Easter egg to Shadow of the Colossus as the main character was of course climbing the giant just like I had to do for the platinum. With that level 100%ed, I moved on to the next one, Bath House Battle. And this level introduced another really cool powerup which turned Astrobot into a sponge which meant we could now grow and shrink using water along with using the water to grow things around us in the environment. And using this ability allowed me to find the secret portal for this level which unlocked the world Furnace Fever. And during this level I found all of the infamous characters. From there, I 100%ed the world and then headed back to Bath House Battle and I 100%ed it as well. The next world was Trapped in Time where I got to use another new power up, the chicken, which pretty much acts the exact same as the dog, but instead of boosting horizontally, you instead boost vertically. And once again, with this variety, it resulted in another awesome level. However, after beating the level originally, I did have to go back and get a puzzle piece that I missed right at the very start. But now, the world was 100%ed. And before moving on to the boss level though, I did discover the lost circle void. And just like the triangle void, this unlocked four brand new, somewhat difficult levels for me to play to get four new bots. But before playing those, I once again did have enough puzzle pieces to unlock the next building. We’re over halfway now. Let’s go. Yeah. Okay. Got enough puzzle pieces to unlock this. What’s this? Animal attraction. Opened the safari park. Now, the safari park itself doesn’t really mean much, but what’s inside does, as we do now, finally unlock the camera, meaning I could now get the trophy for taking a picture at a photo spot. And there just happened to be multiple of these in the safari park. Oh, strike a pose. Took a picture at a photo spot. Oh, I thought Okay, I thought a photo spot was going to be one of the ones in the actual level, but I guess this counts here, too. Other than a few new collectibles for us to find, the Safari Park really didn’t have much else other than just looking at animals and taking photos. So, I headed back out and decided to start completing the circle levels. And after a bit of trial and error and a few deaths, I managed to complete all four circle levels without too much pain. So I could then move on to the boss world where I of course fought against a serpent and her name was Lady Venomara. I tried to use my ability. Damn. Okay, surely one more time. Oh no. Wait, now I got to grab it. Oh, okay. New arena. Whoa. What the heck? Come on. Dang. Is that the final blow? Yeah. Yeah. Hey, give me my chest. Who’s inside? Is it Nathan Drake? It is the theme song. And so, of course, that means the next level will be an Uncharted themed level. But before doing that, I noticed that some new asteroids had spawned in. So, I destroyed them to unlock a brand new side level, which I quickly completed before moving on to Dude Raiding, where we got to take control of Nathan Drake by using his signature handgun to take out enemies from afar. And it wouldn’t be an Uncharted level without plenty of chests and secrets to find along with some really cool bots. Elena, no, I’m not Elena. What am I saying? Chloe. Chloe Fraser. Is that Sully? Sully knew that. Oh, there’s Elena L for sure. And just like the God of War level, this one also had a miscellaneous trophy tied to it for finding the three secret eggs. And obviously, these eggs are a reference to the secret artifacts in the Uncharted games, which were originally a reference to the Jack and Daxter precursor orbs. And unlike the ravens, because there was only three of these, they were fairly easy to find. Oh, the final. This is going to be a trophy. Hey, the Lost Eggassy collected all three egg artifacts and dude rating. Yeah, obviously we collected those in the far in the sorry Far Cry in the Uncharted games. And moving on, in Uncharted fashion, towards the end of the level, we had to run away from a boulder, which is also probably a reference to Indiana Jones. And this led us to the next ship part. But again, in Uncharted fashion, we had one final set piece before the level was completed. Oh. Oh. Say, how many times do you have to shoot? Hey, what’s this? Rescued ship part. What part of the the mother ship’s GPU accelerates, renders, processes, and most importantly sings? What? Following that, we return to the crash site to clean up the GPU and reinsert it into the PS5. GPU is ready to go. Boom. Hey, doing it for you. Recovered the mother ship’s GPU. And so with the next piece collected, the satellite dude once again crashes down into a new area. Again though, before unlocking the new galaxy, I decided to 100% Serpent Starway. And for this, I just had to find and complete the last two side levels. One of them being Crumble Rumble 3 and the other one being Retro Rampage 3. Oh, that was easy. Thanks very much. Rescued all bots in Serpent Starway. With Serpent Starway now 100%, I rescued the satellite bot which unlocked me the new galaxy camo Cosmos where once again a bunch of new worlds are ready for us to tackle. And first up was Hyro Glitch Pyramid. And in this level, I was able to find the one and only Lara Croft. Let me know if I should 100% the Tomb Raider series. During this level, I also got to use a brand new powerup which allows us to turn into a metal ball and roll around. And it offered unique ways to take down enemies and unique ways to unlock collectibles, too. Unfortunately, by the end of the level, I had missed one bot. But here in the final room, before taking the exit portal, they did actually hide the secret portal in the back here, which led to the level Rocket Pool Power in the Lost Galaxy. Once again, another fantastic level. And after 100%ing it, I headed back to Hierro Glitch Pyramid, where I found the one bot that I had missed, meaning it was now complete. Next up, I headed to the world bubbling under. And to no surprise, this level was pretty much fully underwater, which meant it was time for another new power up, the penguin, which allows us to zoom really quickly around underwater and swim up waterfalls, too. Considering the reputation that underwater levels have in video games, this one was surprisingly really good. Most of the level was this open area where you could do plenty of exploration to find all of the collectibles. And what a throwback. I even found Octoabad. Anyway, with that, the level was complete. And from there, I unlocked the secret level, Retro Rampage 4. And after completing that, I moved on to the next main level, Balloon Breeze, where the big friendly robot made a return. And of course, we use the balloon power up again. Unfortunately, I missed a bot at the start of the level, and I also didn’t find the secret portal before making it to the finish. So before moving on to the next level, I decided to head back, find the bot and also the secret portal, which led to the world danger dojo. And with the Japanese theming of this level, we of course found the one and only Jin Sakai from Ghost of Ssushima, which is one of the best games that I have ever 100%ed, and I’m looking forward to Ghost of Yote. Anyway, that was another level in the Lost Galaxy complete. And so now it was time for spooky time. And as the time name suggests, we of course get to use the power up that allows us to slow down time. And also fitting the level, I found some Resident Evil characters with this one being Chris Redfield, I believe, which means I’m pretty sure this one is Jill Valentine. Also, at this point, I was pretty much using the PlayStation help to make sure that I didn’t miss any bots or puzzle pieces in these levels, especially towards the end of levels, so I wouldn’t have to come back and replay through the whole level just to get one bot or puzzle piece at the end. So, that being said, I did of course 100% spooky time, unlocking the final boss for this galaxy. But before doing that, I did discover the Lost Square void, which of course meant I had four new tough levels to play through. But surprisingly, I managed to get through all four of them, only dying a few times, and I actually completed them all in about 10 minutes. I guess you could say I’m just a god at platforming. Anyway, with those four levels done, it was now time to move on to the boss. And as the galaxy name Camo Cosmos suggests, we of course are fighting against Mecca Leon. Get it? because he’s a chameleon and chameleons can use camo to their ability. Anyway, just like the other bosses in this game, this boss fight is once again fantastic. I really can’t fault any of the boss fights in this game. They are just always so much fun. Boom. Surely that’s it. Surely that was three phases, right? Oh yeah. Pull on his nose. Oh, that looks like it hurts. Holy. Out of here, buddy. Oh. Um. Huh? I don’t even know who you are, bro. Damn. I’m hitting a cton. What? I don’t even know what character that is, man. What the hell? A yellow ball. What PlayStation character is that? So, yeah, this was the first themed level that I didn’t recognize, but seeing the level name going Loco did jog my memory a little bit. And then, of course, in the level, we actually got to use the powers of that yellow orb turning Astro into an orb. And then, once I saw the game play, I did feel like I had seen it before somewhere. And obviously in hindsight now that I am editing, I do know that this level is based off of the game Loco Roo, which obviously I have never actually played. But I do somewhat recognize the cover of the physical case and I’ve probably seen it around somewhere. But despite that, I actually really did enjoy this level. It was a lot of fun and I’m assuming this is what the gameplay is like in the actual game. And if that’s the case, I can see why it was a really popular kids game. All in all, considering this was the first level that I didn’t recognize, I still had loads of fun playing it. Unfortunately though, I did miss a puzzle piece right before the very end. So, I was going to have to come back to the level. But for now, we did rescue our next ship part. Hey, rescued ship part. Mother ship’s cooling fan. When it spins, prepare to be blown away. I got to shake it. There we go. Get in there. Hey, keep it cool. Recovered the mother ship’s cooling fan. Let’s go. And now for the final time, the satellite bot crashes into a new area of the crash site. Of course though, I still had to go back and 100% camo Cosmos. So, I got the puzzle piece that I missed in the Loco Roo level. And flying around the galaxy, I found the final secret level, Crumble Rumble 4. But before completing the level, I kept flying around until a UFO spawned in with the final puzzle piece. And so then, all I had to do was complete Crumble Rumble 4 to get the final bot. I knew there’d be something I could jump on. I was going to say, how else would I get to him? Hey, what’s up? Nowhere to hide. Rescued all bots in Camel Cosmos. Cosmos. Cosmos. Cosmos. Cosmos. Now it was time to head back to the crash site to save the satellite bot. And in this section, I finally remembered that there was a trophy for breaking a bot wall, just like I did with the bot tower earlier. There’s a trophy for breaking one of these walls. So, I might end up doing that here actually cuz I’ve broken the Hey, wall buster. broke up a bot wall. Oh my goodness, they all fell. Far out. From there, I finally rescued the satellite bot, which revealed the final main galaxy called Feather Cluster. And the first level up was Ginnie of the Lamp. And by far the coolest thing about this level is that we got to fight against this massive genie. And the whole set piece of making our way through a sandstorm was just fantastic. which led to the mini boss fight against the genie where we were able to use the dog power up to our advantage. And once that fight was over, we were able to leave the level. But just like in Hyro Glitch Pyramid, they decided to hide a secret warp portal right at the end again, which unlocked the level high suction hero, which I of course 100%ed. But then when I headed back to the Feather Cluster, I ended up unlocking the Lost Cross Void, which meant another four levels to complete. And to be honest, these levels were a little bit harder than the previous ones, but I still completed all four in about 15 minutes. And overall, I really enjoyed these levels as they did increase the difficulty from the main game. So, they were definitely a welcome addition. Anyway, it was now time to move on to the next main mission, Frozen Meal. And very similar to the Genie level, this level was also awesome, as we got to fight against a gigantic evil snowman. Except I quickly realized that I had forgotten a puzzle piece right at the very start of the level. But my happiness was quickly renewed as I found Sam Porter Bridges from Death Stranding, which again, just like Ghost of Sushima, has to be one of my most favorite games that I’ve ever platinum. And I am super hyped for Death Stranding 2. And to make things even better, I found Connor from Detroit: Become Human, which is another game that I loved getting the platinum for. And to be honest, I’d been wondering the whole game when these two were going to show up as I hadn’t seen them yet. And finally, another good thing about this level is that it had a secret portal. So, I was going to have the opportunity to come back and get that puzzle piece anyway. As for now, we were heading to the last level of the Lost Galaxy, which was called Turtles in Trash. And this level lived up to its name, as it was kind of an educational level about not polluting our oceans and saving the turtles. So, of course, I 100%ed the level. And this ended up unlocking the final level in the Lost Galaxy called Final Encore. And this level was themed as a gigantic present, which inside was another present which had the new power up, the monkey symbol inside, which allows us to clap them together to cause changes in our environment, which opened up the way to the main level. And I didn’t really know what to expect from this level, but it was essentially just any normal level with bots and puzzle pieces to collect. And of course, just like I usually do, I had forgotten the first puzzle piece in the level, but I couldn’t go back. So, in the end, I just collected all of the bots and finished the level. Hey, lost and found. Rescued all bots in Lost Galaxy. Yeah. Of course, I then quickly headed back into the level to get the final puzzle piece. And now I could say I’d officially 100%ed the Lost Galaxy. I then headed back to the feather cluster where I noticed an asteroid flying around which unlocked me the level Jinnie’s Revenge. And as you can guess, the Jinny from the first level in this world makes a return and we get to have another boss fight against him. But to be honest, he was pretty easy. And once again, he goes down without much of a fight and we rescue the special bot of this level. But it was cool seeing one of these side levels as a boss fight. Anyway, now I made my way back to Frozen Meal and actually got the puzzle piece at the start of the level. And then I actually had to fight against Frigid Frosty this time to defeat him and get the final bot of this level, meaning it was now 100%. The next world I took on was Luna Solar. And this world had the unique feature of changing between day and night cycles. And on this level, I actually ended up missing both a bot and a puzzle piece when I made it to the end. So straight away, I replayed the level to get both of those. and the bot I missed turned out to be Sack Boy, another PlayStation platforming icon. And I may or may not be platinuming his game next. Anyway, with that level now 100%, I moved on to the next one, which was called Cannon Brawl. And for once, I got the first puzzle piece on a level first try. Unfortunately, that did not stop me from missing a bot, though near the start of the level as well. And I even missed a later one in the level, too. Other than that though, this level was literally fire as who doesn’t love a level set in a volcano. And I also got to use the awesome metal ball ability as well. And on top of all that, at the end of the level, there was a mini boss fight against Captain Shortfuse, who was a literal pirate skeleton rising from the lava. Seriously, they cooked with the boss fights in this game. Okay, I’ll stop with these bad puns because after defeating Captain Shortfuse, I had to head back into the level to get the two bots I missed. And now it was time to head to the next level, Orbital Blitz. And honestly, nothing too crazy happened in this level. It was just a solid space themed level. And we did have a mini boss fight at the end again Uber Foe. And he was really easy to take down. So in no time, I had 100% completed the level. And that meant next up was the boss world. And once again, the name of the galaxy, feathercluster, of course, means we are fighting against a gigantic bird called Falcon McFly. And once again, this was another fantastic setpiece boss fight. And we got to use the bull power up to the best of its ability. Yes. Come on. Boom. Oh, we got a big egg head. Boom. Oh, I think we’re going to turn into a bull and just Oh, with the music and everything. Aloy, what’s up? Aloy from Horizon. Let’s go. Now, this character I definitely knew and I was super hyped for this level as I loved playing through Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West. They are some of my favorite platinums as well. And so this next world was called Machine Learning. And out of all the PlayStation levels so far, I reckon this one had the best designed world as it looked phenomenal. And we of course got to use Aloyy’s bow and become Aloy herself with the gameplay essentially becoming like Horizon as we are able to use our bow to aim in and slow down time. And of course, there were some pretty cool special bots to discover as well. And just like the other PlayStation levels, there was a miscellaneous trophy tied to this level. And what I had to do was bait these enemies into the trip caster to defeat them. As long as I don’t destroy them, I think. Hey, there we go. What a trip. Defeated seven enemies with the trip caster. Yeah. Okay. So, cuz if I use my thing, it obviously destroys it. So, I just had to make sure I was dodging and jumping normally. Yeah. Continuing on with the level, there was some really cool ways to get the collectibles. And I even found one of my favorite characters in the game, Silence. Rest in peace to Lance Reic. And then, by far the coolest part of this level is the mini boss fight at the end against the Blunder Jaw, which low-key is a Horizon themed version of the T-Rex boss fight from Astro’s Playroom. And this boss fight is all about using our bow to take him down, just like shooting the parts off a thunder jaw in Horizon. Wait, he’s still alive. Ain’t no way. Oh, bang. One final shot. He gone. Boom. Later he is. Wait, what? He’s back. I thought he blew up. Are you kidding me? What? Stop trolling. Just get out of here. I was going to say, boom. Oh, we’re getting the covers, are we? Is that what we’re getting? Ah, rescued ship part. Oh, I thought we were getting the final piece, but we’re getting the covers. Mother ships protection covers. The most stylish way to prevent burn up on re-entry. Oh, we got to clean it, do we? No, don’t shoot the thing, bro. Is this it? We’ve done it. Hey, we fixed the PS5. Hey, take cover. Recovered the mother ship’s protection covers. Yeah, let’s go. And so, of course, now with the PS5 almost completely fixed, it was time to take on the final boss of the game, Nebula, so he could save the CPU. And to start this final phase of the story, all I had to do was press this big red button. And after doing so, we take off in our PS5 with all of our bots with us. We eventually run into Nebullex, but of course, he escapes. And in order to catch up with him, we release all the other PlayStation accessories and artifacts that we collected in Astro’s playroom. And as Astro, we get to use our dual speed controller to make our way through the level Play Squadron Go. And once again, this level is just straight awesome. And low key, the best way to describe it is like Luke flying through the Death Star, taking down all the other fighters, making our way to the end goal. Throughout the fight, there’s these mini boss fights, and with the help of the different PlayStation consoles, we are able to take them down. And essentially, each part of this fight is broken down into different eras of PlayStation from PS1 all the way to PS4, as all the different accessories and bots relating to those errors can be seen throughout the level. Final puzzle piece. Let’s go. Oh, is this it? Now we take on the actual boss fight. Time to fight. I was going to say, surely it’s not that easy. Oh god. Space bully Nebulax. That’s his name. Nebulax. Okay. And so after that really cool ship sequence, it leads into the true boss fight of the game against Nebulax himself. And pretty much this boss fight consists of Nebulac spinning a wheel until it lands on a certain power up. And then a special set piece starts where we are able to use that power up in order to take him down. For example, in this first phase, I got the monkey hands power up. And for some reason, Nebulax decides to whip out some guns and start shooting metal balls at us, which we can then pick up and throw back at him. So, honestly, this guy ain’t very smart. And so, then after each phase, we have to destroy a lock that is keeping the CPU kid in Nebulax’s UFO. Hey, no. Okay, that’s one life down. Boom. Right in the eyeball. What’s that? One more lock. The dog. Yes. Wait, what? Cheating. Damn. Boom. Is that it? We’re done. We defeated Nebullex. Yeah. Out of here, Nebullex. Boom. A lot to process. Save the CPU, kid. Hey, we did it. We beat the game. Oh, no. Wait, what? We got We already got the trophy, though. Wait, what? Oh, yes. Back control. Holy crap. Oh crap. They’re throwing everything at us. Oh my god. Oh, just admit defeat, buddy. Hold on, Astro. Oh my god, they’re all saving me. No, no, no. Astro, he sacrificed himself. No. Wait. Surely. Nah. He He’ll be alive though. How are we going to do the cleanup? What? Nah. This is a troll. Astrobot. Nah. Ain’t no way the credits are rolling right now. N. That’s a troll. That’s a fake ending. Oh, wait. What? We just survived. Oh, he’s all broken. No. Someone resuscitate him. Oh, we are. Oh, we got a new arm, eh? Another new arm. Aha. Oh, is this going to fix? Oh. Oh, that’s so cool. Hey, good as new. Come on, Astro. Wait, in the reflection, is that us? Yes. Let’s go, Astro. Astrobot presented by Team Mobi. Credits clash. Wait, what? And just the cherry on top for this game after that amazing boss fight, they have an interactive credit section where we get to once again use every single power up to platform our way through all the different credits and get heaps of coins along the way, too. This is it. That’s the final present. Hey, a PlayStation memory card. And yay. Hey Damn, that’s such a cool. Thank you for playing. Oh, that’s awesome. Thank you for providing a great game. That was awesome. Astrobot, I can see why it won game of the year. You can tell the love and passion they put in it. Ah, then we got the actual credits. I see. Following the credits, the game takes us back to the main space map. And this is where it lets us know that we are able to replay all the levels in the game, including the boss fight levels we just did. And it also introduces the brand new DLC worlds that they have added in since the launch of the game. And so now with the main story done, this is where the cleanup begins to get the rest of the trophies. So first thing up, I actually had to head back to Feathercluster to 100% it. And so I found the final puzzle piece flying around. and then directly after found the asteroid that unlocks the final crumble rumble level. So, I completed it to rescue that bot and then I had to wait around for a good couple of minutes until the final UFO with the asteroid spawned in so I could unlock the final retro rampage level. Hey, we did it. Oh, is that Hitman? Back to the nest. Rescued all bots and feather cluster. Oh, no. It’s not Hitman law. And so after that, I had now officially 100%ed every main galaxy. But I still had some clean up to do at the crash site. As when I got back there, it turned out that I need one final puzzle piece to get the last building. So I finished up the last few tasks around the crash site to try and find it. But all I could find were more bots. I even checked the space map and it said I still needed one more bot and one more puzzle piece. So, in the end, because I was confused, I kind of got distracted and just headed into the gacha lab. And because I had 5,500 coins, I decided to use all of those to open as many gatchers as I could, which eventually led to a trophy. Natural onen. Even ghosts need to relax sometimes. Oh, it’s Jin Sakai. He’s Yeah. naked, bro. Federation Falcon, the pinnacle of European engineering. Hey, money well spent. Earned 150 prizes from the gacha lab. Yeah. So, we don’t have to unlock all of them. Just 150. Okay. I’m going to try and unlock all of them. Anyway, in the end, with the coins that I had, I ended up unlocking 165 out of the 176. Before getting more coins though, I decided to focus on the trophies for now. and using the PlayStation help. It turns out that the final puzzle piece I needed from the crash site was actually for getting a strike on the bowling pins over here, which I thought I had done earlier, but apparently I hadn’t. Oh my god, look how easy that is. I swear I did that. There we go. The final puzzle piece. Monumental achievement unlocked the golden statue. That was the very last puzzle piece. Well done. Looks like a special friend awaits you at the top. And so now with the golden bot unlocked, this leads into the final bot to collect in the base game. And because up until this point I’d collected every bot, I needed 300 to climb up to the very top, which I was able to do. and climbing all the way up the bot wall led to an asteroid with a portal on top which took me to the hardest level in the game, the great master challenge, which of course has a trophy tied to it. All I had to do was beat the level, but as I mentioned, this is probably the hardest in the game, as it pretty much combines all the different PlayStation symbol levels into one big level. So, of course, this meant that I was going to have quite a few fails. No. Are you kidding? No checkpoint. What? Okay, that’s fair. No. No. Are you kidding me? No. I thought I could do it in time. Oh crap. No way. I thought they were going to stop spawning. Oh my goodness. This is Okay. What the heck? This is crazy. No way. But you know what? Despite this being the hardest level in the game, it actually only took me about 10 minutes. And this was the successful run. What about me? I have to do this for the end. Have to be very careful. All right. Come on. All right. Come on. I have to make sure I keep dodging. Come on. Yes. Yes. This is This is it, right? Yes. Who is it? Onion. Wait, what? I need to st Oh my god, that was the worst timing. Hey, the golden bot rescued the special master bot at the top of the golden statue. Lyrical master kick punch. It’s all in the mind. Um, I’m pretty sure this guy is from Parappa the rapper. I’m not actually too sure, I think. But that’s an interesting choice as the final bot. I thought it was actually just going to be like a golden bot. Oh, throwback. Your triangles are showing. Oh, that’s sick. Gen one dual speeder. Oh my god, the classics never go out of style. And with that completed, it was now time for a bunch of miscellaneous trophy cleanup. So, first up in the crash site, I headed over to the PS5 to look at all the ship parts. Ah, do I have to dance? Oh, here we go. Hey, sing stars witnessed all ship parts seen together in crash sight. That was easy one. SD memory GPU SSD. Oh, that’s cool. For the next trophy, I was heading back to the ape escape level as I never got the miscellaneous trophy in this one. Is it is it like a bush or something? Oh, that bush. Okay. There we go. Net profit. Caught the gold butterfly and apes on the loose. Nice. So, I just had to go to that bush back there and make it come out. Next up was the God of War level. And if you remember correctly, I had gotten seven out of the eight ravens. So, I just needed to get the final one. Ah, I didn’t even see that raven the first time. Eyes of the old father. Found and defeated all eight ravens in Bart of War. Let’s go. So, yeah, there was one there and one up there. I just obviously never looked at it from old mate’s head. Following that, I headed to the nearby world, Wormy Passage, as I had to take down two worm enemies at the same time using the frog boxing gloves. And this was apparently the perfect level to do it on. No, that’s the part where I think I need to do it. All right, here we go. There we go. Boom. Double dug in. Took out two wormies at the same time. Yeah, let’s go. Another easy trophy. I then headed to the camo cosmos galaxy and entered into the underwater world called bubbling under because I had missed an easy miscellaneous trophy for jumping through a ring. Here we go. Oh, we got to go up here. Hey, there we go. Jumping through hoops, le through the ring, and bubbling under. Once again, another really easy trophy. And let me tell you, the easy trophies did keep coming as it was now time for a bunch of bot related miscellaneous trophies at the crash site. So, first off, I took a photo of two legendary explorers, which as you can probably guess is Nathan Drake and Lara Croft. Okay, so we have to try and take a photo as she’s running around. So, we got to try and get her in the background. We got to wait for the dinosaur to chase her around. Oh, here she comes. Look at that. Lara Craft and Nathan Drake. What? Why did that not work? Okay. Thick as Thieves captured a photo of two legendary explorers in crash site. Why did that only work on this certain angle? That is really weird. But Dude Raider, Dude Raider, and Tomb Raider. Next up, I headed over to where the God of War characters were as I had to make freeze Thor with his axe. Do we have to get him to Oh. Oh, wait. Do we have to get I think we have to hit Thor and get Kratos to hit Thor, maybe. There we go. Thor, god of thunder, throw a hammer wielding deity with the axe and crash site. Okay, so we had to quickly hit Kratos and run behind Thor so he would hit Thor. That’s pretty pretty cool. I can’t lie. Next up was a really awesome one as we had to do the signature crash bandicoot dance with him. Hey, let’s twist again. Busted a move and an iconic marupial and crash site. I was not doing it in sync with him, but when you dance near him, you obviously instead of just doing one of these dances, you got to hit him. Okay. Well, I don’t know why it’s not working now, but oh well, we got the trophy anyway. Moving on, we headed over to this bot, who I believe is from Yakuza. And all I had to do was keep punching him until the trophy popped. Yeah, drop everything. Give me your money. What the heck? You had a stop sign and a cone and a bowling ball and a torch and a bowl and a darts thing and a whatever that is. How Oh my god. Deep pocket dragon. Make a tough made a tough guy drop all these items in Crashite. How much stuff do you have, bro? Look at all this What you doing, bro? Now we move on to the final character related trophy. And what I had to do was head over to these two bots, who I believe are from Street Fighter. Sorry, my knowledge is really bad. I’ve never actually played a fighting game. But anyway, all I had to do was punch both of them, causing both of the animations to trigger. All right, so I think I got to hit him. There we go. KO picked a fight with two street fighting warriors and crash site. I had to do both of them. I had to do her and then also stop hitting her. I want to hit him. Yeah. Okay, there we go. And then finally for the next one, I had to call all the bots together in order to do a dance. If they all come over here. Yeah. All everyone come over here. Like a spyro flying in. And then if we start dancing, botbot revolution. Dance with 100 bots in crash sight. Oh, they’re all doing the floss with me. Take a photo of that, bro. There we go. All right, that’s it. That’s enough, fellas. And with that done, I now needed one more trophy to get the platinum, but of course, I was going to save that for last. So, next up, we move on to the DLC, Stellar Speedway. And this new galaxy has five worlds for us to complete with two bots in each world. And these levels are essentially the same as the DLC speedrun levels they added in Astro’s Playroom. as in order to rescue both bots, you have to complete the level faster than both of these birds. Now, I can’t lie, the blue one is very easy to beat. If you don’t beat that on your first try, I’m sorry, you’re just bad at the game. But the red bird, on the other hand, that one goes a lot quicker. So, you definitely have to lock in if you want to beat that bird. Thankfully, because these levels are all about speed, they’re not actually too hard. And for this first level, building speed, I actually beat it on my first attempt. Uhoh. Oh god. Oh, there we go. Hurle rescue. Rescued a bot in building speed. Masterless samurai. A new hero on the rise. I’m pretty sure that’s from Rise of the Ronin cuz yeah, these are all newish characters. And then because we beat that red bird, we also get Mr. the Hell Diver over here. Super Earth ambassador keeping Super Earth safe since 224. So we got Rise of the Ron and the Hell Divers, too. So technically for these level related trophies, I only needed to save one bot, but there was a trophy overall for saving every single bot in this galaxy. So I was going to have to beat the Red Bird every time. So, now we move on to the next level, Let It Slide, where I actually had one fail. But then I managed to complete the level on my very next attempt. I don’t see the red bird anywhere. So, I think we’re beating it quite easily. Boom. Where’s the red bird? There finally. Ice cold rescue. Rescued a bot and let it slide again. First try. Ponytailed protector. Her combat skills are stellar. Oh yeah, that’s the Eve. I think it is from Stella Blade. Another newish character. And we got another hell diver, of course. Galactic Peacekeeper has a strategim for every occasion. Next up was the level Spring Loaded Run, which I actually failed on the very first jump, but then just like the previous world, I did beat it on my very next go. Right there. Come on. All right. This is pretty fun level. Oh, come on. Hey, just in time. Let’s go. Punchy rescue. Rescue the button. Springloaded run. Holy night. A lightning fast swordsman. What new game is that? I actually don’t know about that one. And another goddamn hell div. Okay, following that, it was time for Helium Heights. And this one, I didn’t actually die, but I did stuff up one of my jumps at the very end, meaning the red bird had beat me to the finish line. So, I decided to just restart straight away. And for the first time, I actually failed for a second time. But, of course, third time’s the charm. No. Come on. Yes. Just in time. Holy, that was close. Breezy rescue. Rescued a bot in Helium Heights. Heavenly Warrior takes a stance against evil in theory. Uh, I don’t know what game that is either. And another held over, of course. And finally, we move on to Rising Heat, the final level of Stella Speedway. And this was actually by far the hardest level so far, as we had to use the monkey paws power up. And controlling these is such a pain. You have to use motion controls for this power up along with being very specific with what triggers you pushing down. So, it can actually become quite overwhelming quite quickly. And it definitely takes a little bit of practice to get used to, especially when you are under a time constraint in order to beat the Red Bird. So, I’m not going to lie, there were quite a few times I had to restart as the Red Bird kept beating me or I would fold under the pressure and click the wrong button. No. Oh my god. Why? Oh, I accidentally let go of both of them. Oh, I was about to win, too. Oh my gosh. What am I doing? No. Despite these setbacks, this level after a while got pretty easy as you got used to it. So, I did manage to complete it in under 10 minutes. There we go. I think I’m winning it really easily right now. Hey, what the Oh my god. Don’t stuff it up. There we go. Oh my goodness gracious me. Flaming rescue rescued a bot in rising heat. Exalted Exo at the vanguard of protecting humanity. That is What’s his name? He’s from Destiny 2. I know that. What’s his name? I don’t know his name, but I know he’s from Destiny 2. And this should be a trophy as well. Hey, fast and found. Rescued all bots in Stellar Speedway. Suave traitor. Never without his umbrella. That’s Wesker, I think his name is from Resident Evil, the like one of the villains. That’s pretty cool. That’s the DLC done already. Okay. Well, that was definitely the hardest level so far. Minute and 8 seconds. And so with Stella Speedway 100%, it was time to move on to the next DLC, Winter Wonder, which as you can probably guess, they brought out around Christmas time. And our first trophy is actually unlocked right at the very start of this level for opening the present and unlocking the Santa outfit. What? 0 to 15 presents. Oh. Oh, there it is. Astro Ho ho changed into the festive fellow outfit. Nice. We Santa Claus the season’s ho ho ho hus look. Whoa. Hello, Mr. Tree. Oh, so we got to find all the presents. Okay. Hey, there we are. We’re in the outfit. Nice. So, as you can probably tell, this isn’t actually a new galaxy. It is just a new planet level. And our goal is to find all 15 presents in order to get the next trophy. And these presents are spread out throughout the level. And for most of them, you have to use a certain power up to get to them. There we go. Oh, is that Rayman? That’s goddamn Rayman. Limbless legend. Unarmed, but still packs a punch. Yeah, that’s Rayman, bro. What the heck? Got another present for us to open. Polygon Poly Chroma Dual Speeder. What a mesh. That looks really cool. Oh my god, it’s Mars Morales. Mars Morales. Spider-Man. Miles Morales. Youthful protector. When it comes to fighting crime, he’s miles ahead. Oh, that’s so cool. They I was Yeah, why only just adding the Spider-Man characters in this DLC, bro? Come on. There we go. Arch stone explorer outfit gives you an armored core. Is that the Demon Souls character? Oh, why can’t we put it on straight away? Oh, hello. Vengeful vengeful spirit outfit. Follow the warrior code or don’t. Jins Sakai. Hey, of course. Who the heck are you? I have no idea who you are. Wild Child Pig Wrangler extraordinaire. No idea what game you’re from, bro. Hey, jolly holy dual speeder makes every flight feel festive. Yeah. Hey, there we go. Who are you? I don’t know who you are either. Squarey gecko takes channel hopping a little too literally. Don’t know what game you’re from. Urban Dash dual speeder. Keep the meter running. Taxi. Okay. Ooh. Oh, that’s the end of the level. We don’t want to end the level yet. We’ve only got like 10 out of the 15, don’t we? Yeah. 10 out of 15 presents. Hey, I was going to say this has to be a present. Retro Royale dual speeder. Low res at high speed. Oh, we’re Santa Claus coming down the fireplace. Oh, it’s a worm character. Worms character. Wriggly wararmonger. Armed and dangerous. I’m dangerous. Got to go inside, do we? Oh, this is so cool. Antler adventurer. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear antlers. Ah. Oh. Croc bombardo. Crocodile gobo defender. Don’t worry, he won’t bite. What game are you from? Crocodile. Okay. Oh, wait. We only need one more. Yo, so is that cuz is that Yeah. 14 out of 15. So, this should be the final present. Is it going to be Spider-Man? It is to Pete Barker. Unwrapped opened all presents in winter wonder. Neighborhood hero friendly and amazing too. Yeah, we got Spider-Man and Mars Morals. Let’s go. And with that, the planet was 100% complete. But we weren’t done yet, as we had one final miscellaneous trophy to get, which was for climbing to the very top of the Christmas tree. this power up. Probably could have got this earlier. Oh, there we go. There we go. You’re a star. Climb to the top of the festive tree in winter wonder. There we go. And with that, I now had all three trophies in the Winter Wonder DLC. And it was time to move on to the final DLC, Vicious Void. And this DLC is fairly similar to Stella Speedway, as it’s another galaxy with five worlds in it. But this time, there is only one bot per world. And different to Stella Speedway, instead of focusing on completing these levels as quick as you can, this DLC goes more for the difficulty side, as you aren’t racing against any birds. Instead, you just have to try and defeat the level without dying, as they are a lot harder. And so, I quickly failed on my first attempt. But to be honest, because this DLC is about surviving and not speed, you can actually go as slow as you want. So, in the end, it actually almost makes the levels easier. As they say, slow and steady wins the race. Wait, that was not hard at all. Timely rescue. Rescued the bot in Tic Tac Shark. Iron Patriot. Great fight. Great fighter, terrible parent. Uh, I feel like I feel like I’ve seen that hairstyle in Tekken, I think. Next level up was Thrust or Bust, which is a crazy sus name. But anyway, I did once again die on my very first attempt and on my second and my third and fourth, fifth, sixth, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th. But then finally on my 12th attempt, I did complete this level. So maybe I shouldn’t be saying these levels are easier than Stella Speedway or not this particular level anyway. Yes, there we go. Finally. Who’s that up there? Thrusting rescue. Rescued the bot in thrust or bust again. That is so sus, bro. Fairy tale hero. If he rebuilds it, they will come. I don’t know what game that is, unfortunately. Following that was the next level, Cockadoodle Doom, which once again was actually pretty tough. So, honestly, at this rate, I think I take back what I said about these levels being easier than Stella Speedway. But to be fair, I still did manage to complete this level in only about five minutes. Yes, that’s the end. Woohoo! Rooster rescue rescued the butt in cockadoodle doom. Rebel photographer fights a good fight against Eevee the photographer. Again, I actually don’t know what game that’s from. My knowledge on games is terrible. What the hell? Next level up was hard to bear, which was definitely the easiest level so far in this DLC as I got it on my fifth attempt. Hey, there we go. I was like, where’s the exit? I thought it was there. Barely rescued. Rescued the bot in hard to bear. Rebellious knights takes no half measures against half breeds. I don’t know what game that is, bro. I don’t know. I don’t know. Anyway, this meant we were on to Armored Hardcore, the final level and trophy of this DLC. And thankfully, this was actually the easiest level in the DLC so far, as I got it on my third attempt. Woohoo! Woohoo! Oh my god. Come on. Yes. That’s the end. Holy. Wait, that was kind of easy. Rolling rescue. rescued the bot in armored hardcore. Oh my god, it’s Izzio. Renaissance, man. Never afraid to take a leap of faith. It’s an assass. I’m pretty sure if it’s Renaissance, that’s that’s Etsio. Etsio out. I really want to play the Assassin’s Creed game. So maybe I’ll do that in the future. Let me know in the comments down below if you think I should play the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Anyway, with that, Vicious Void was now 100% complete, and it was just time to get the final trophy in the base game to get the platinum. But now that I had every single bot in the game, I decided that I also wanted to get every single gatcher in the game for those bots. As if you remember, I didn’t have enough coins last time to finish the rest of these gatches. But after completing all these DLCs, I now had more coins. However, this still wasn’t enough as I only ended up with 175 out of the 189 prizes. So, I wanted to get those final 14 before getting the platinum. So, after some research and trial and error, I realized that playing through the first level was not the best idea. But instead, the quickest way to grind coins was to actually play the credits clash over and over again, as you get coins for each jump you complete on these memory cards, and you actually get coins for destroying the destructible credits as well. And I would say on each run, you get about 700 coins, meaning in the end, I actually only had to do it twice, which didn’t take very long at all. And now I could unlock the rest of the gatchers, which even though didn’t get me any trophy or anything, now meant that I’d officially 100%ed the game in game as well. And so now it was time to get the final trophy for climbing all the way to the top of the PS5. We should get the platinum as soon as we get up top. Whoa. Holy crap. Whoa. Oh, that’s so cool. Hey, pick. Okay. Wait, where why haven’t I got my trophy yet? Is it over this way? Oh, there we go. At the top of my game. Made it to the top of the mother ship. Look at that. Total trophy progress 100%. That means Astronomical. Earned all trophies. Yes. Well done. And see you in Astro’s next adventure. Ah, so they’re going to make another one. That’s I can’t wait. This game was so much fun. The only bad thing about it is that it was short. It was too short, man. I wanted to keep playing. I was having so much fun. But I mean, it still was quite big to be fair. It was bigger than Ash’s Playroom. So, I just wish it was bigger. Yeah, that was pretty fun. Not going to lie. I’ve really enjoyed Ash’s Playroom. Obviously, my first ever Platinum. I really love that game even though it was only like 5 hours or under. Um, this game obviously a lot longer, but still keeps that nice charm. So, what a great way to end. So, with that, Astrobots Platinum and 100% was officially complete. And as I mentioned in my voice over, this game was so much fun. The whole time I was enjoying it, I wasn’t disappointed by anything. And just like Astro’s Playroom, it was another great addition to the Astrobot franchise, and I would highly recommend that all of you play it. And of course, if you’re into trophy hunting, then I would highly recommend it as well as it is a very easy platinum and 100% to get. And you don’t even have to use a guide as everything can be found on the PlayStation help menu. So, all in all, I can see why this one game of the year, it definitely deserved it and everyone should play it. It’s one of the best platformers that I’ve ever played. Anyway, with that being said, thank you all so much for watching this video if you made it to the end. I know it’s another long one, but not quite as long as the Far Cry 6 video, and I’m hoping to continue to make videos around this 1 and a half hour length. Anyway, if you did make it this far in the video, comment down below, game of the year completed. Once again, thank you all so much for watching this video and please, if you haven’t already, hit that like and subscribe button, as it really helps me out and lets me know that you guys want to continue to see more of these videos. Also, of course, a massive shout out to the channel members and in particular my ultra rare member, Shagita 456. Thank you all so much for being members. Anyway, I’ll see you all in the next one, which will actually be another PlayStation mascot platformer. See you all then. I can demonstrate taking off. Find a place with the view. The pain is never going to stop if it’s controlling you. I know that can heal it all. I just got to get through. I just got to get through.
