NO DRAGON BALL GAME DLC FOR THE NEXT YEAR: WE ARE COOKED
No new Dragon Ball game DLC for the next year. I am 100% serious. This is not a troll and we have to talk about this now because it affects us all. So today it was recently announced that the next battle hour event is being held in 2026, April 2026 to be precise. Okay. Now, I know you’re going to say that that’s regular, that’s normal. Uh, of course, they have a battle hour every year. What are you freaking out over? And you have to pay attention to how they’re uh promoting this event, right? And I know this is going to weigh more so on Dragon Ball Sparking Zero than it does Xenoverse 2, but it affects all Dragon Ball games, right? So, the battle hour event is promoting itself using a image of Super Saiyan 4 Da Goku. Not only that, it’s featuring all the games. And if you have all the games there, all of them will have announcements. And I know what you’re still saying to yourself, that’s supposed to be a good thing, right? Well, I want you to notice that they’re using SS4 Diamond Goku as the promotional vehicle. And I want you to notice that Sparking Zero does not have Super Saiyan 4 Da Goku. So what this means for that game, and of course, you know, I do not give a damn about Sparking Zero, but this does affect all of us because of the upcoming drought, is that Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will not be getting Super Saiyan 4 Diamond Goku for the next DLC because they’re supposed to be releasing DLC come this September, which is a couple of weeks away. like they only have four weeks in September, of course. So, uh the next 30 days they have to drop the DLC and uh it’s not looking too good because why would they promote the next battle hour with an old character? You get what I’m saying? Like if if by that time cuz by that time, 8 months away, uh Super Saiyan 4 diamond Goku will be old news. So, why would they be using that as a key character, a key visual for this event unless they’re not going to have Super Saiyan 4 diamond Goku in that next DLC pack and it ends up just being Majin Du and Super Saiyan 3 adult Vegeta. Really think about that now, cuz they did technically only promise that game what, like 20 some odd characters for the season pack. Imagine if they do the griiest thing and they don’t give you Super Saiyan 4, Da Goku, and they just say, “Screw it. There you go. Super Saiyan 3, Adult Vegeta, and Majin Du cuz Majin has to come because of Majin Coup.” And they just sort of like skip off into the sunset doing some grimy crap like that. And they they basically lure you guys for another year for some more halfass DLC. Think about that. Now, the implications are terrifying, but then you got to look at the other games, right? Dragon Ball Fighters, which I don’t know why they’re dusting that off. They they don’t ever do anything with that. Xenoverse 2, they’re in a similar ship. The only difference is that Xenoverse 2 is a great game. Uh, but if you drought this game with no DLC, they’ve had no V jump scans, no word on chapter 3, let alone chapter 4 of the Future Saga DLC packs. So ba best case scenario, let’s say they release DLC this month, chapter 3. You’re telling me we’re going to have to wait a whole another calendar year to get some DLC? Are you kidding me right now? Are you kidding? Are you kidding me right now? Are you kidding me right now? Are you kidding me right now? A whole another year. And that that’s the best case scenario. Who’s to say they don’t go maximum grimy and just say, “Well, no, we’re not going to release chapter 3 at all this year.” And you go almost You see what I’m saying? You see what I’m saying? Do you see what I’m saying? You’re make you’re making your community there’s not enough goodwill in the world. This is what you get. This is how you get repaid for being a loyal fan of a series because you love the franchise and they drought you on the content. Not because they don’t have any. I hate them. Everyone think they have to do this lazy current events content where it has to be a new movie out, a new whatever out, and that’s the DLC that they got to choose from for content. But they don’t ever give us the older characters like Hatchiaak or Fashia, Team Bardock, Zagna, Transform Bojack 14 and 15 and Transform Android 13. It’s tons of characters. How about some new again I could go into if you want Dragon Ball Super characters. We’re missing all the rest of the gods of destruction, the angels, the Grand Priest. But no, you would rather drought us for another year. What? for for for for for Berserker Broly. Is that it? A movie that’s what, like five nearly five [ __ ] years old? Are you kidding me right now? Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? It pisses me off because I know Xenoverse and I know Dragon Ball games have the potential. They definitely have the potential because they keep stealing content from us and putting a butt [ __ ] [ __ ] face ass [ __ ] Fortnite putting [ __ ] over there but can’t put anything in the games that they come I just don’t get I don’t get it. I don’t get it a whole damn year. Again, I’m pissed off for everybody. Even though I don’t like Spark and Zero, y’all y’all been going through it. Like that game is hor like the treatment of the game is just as horrible as the game itself. But imagine they’re going to withhold Super Saiyan 4 Diamond Goku just to try to hope to prolong the the full death of the that game. Really think about that now. Really think about that. that they’re willing to go through those lengths not to fix the game, not to correct the issues or anything like that cuz the Lord knows that game is full of issues which pushed everyone away, but you’re willing to withhold content like that to artificially extend that game’s lifespan. Then Xenoverse 2, we’ve been sitting up over here waiting for new DLC characters. You didn’t pissed everyone off by raising the level cap, but not putting an Awoken at the end of the the rainbow for people to work towards. No, you won’t do that. You won’t give us Super Saiyan 4 Awoken just so people have a reason to level up. No. Won’t give us custom key partners that we’ve been asking for for the like god knows how long. And now you don’t want to give us our DLC cuz truth be told, we should have already had chapter 3. Chapter 4 should be releasing for the holiday season. And then we should be looking at what’s next. Like what what’s the next DLC adventure? What the past saga with Bardock and Fasha and crew and follow following up on whatever happened to Bardock at the end of the story for Xenoverse 2, right? That’s something the fans have been asking for, but you won’t pay attention to us. All right. But then you want to I hate they they got the fans in a choke hold right now because if we quit supporting them like we should for their mistreatment of this fan base, then they get to throw their hands up like, “Well, Dragon Ball just isn’t good anymore. It’s all the mobile games.” That that’s all they care about is those [ __ ] mobile games. those halfass like JPEG gift animation damn cell phone games to get get all the characters we’ve been asking for. But they won’t do anything for these console games. I just say quit playing with us. Just go ahead and pull the [ __ ] plug on all the Dragon Ball games. On all the console Dragon Ball games cuz you’re not doing anything with them. You’re just disrespecting people. You’re just sitting on your ass not doing a damn thing. not generating any content. Nothing. Nothing. This is This is pathetic. Th This is a This is the worst thing that I’ve seen for Dragon Ball games. Whether you’re sparking Zero, Kakarot can’t really complain cuz they just got their diamond drop. So, I guess they feel like they’re good to go, right? Uh but especially Xenoverse sparking zero fighters is is is done. It’s done. Nobody touches that. Nobody thinks about that. That’s done for the same reasons, for the same mistreatment that that Xenoverse 2 is currently suffering alongside Spark and Zero. I just think that maybe it’s time for Aio Yoku to maybe take this property away from Bandai Namco. I I just hate seeing Bandai Namco uh shove all the support towards Elden Ring and their little baby projects. the they’re they’re the one that the projects they love and they coddle and they support and they put over, they put the good servers on. But then when I look over at the Dragon Ball games, they don’t give a a [ __ ] It’s just [ __ ] all. There you go. Once a year a DLC drop. There you go. Don’t care anymore. Bye. I’m tire I’m tired.
