Is the Delta DLC Worth It? #metalgearsolid
In Metal Gear Solid Delta, you can purchase the sneaking DLC pack, which will give you access to a range of brand new camo uniforms and face items, as well as a couple of equipables. But what the Steam page doesn’t mention is that some of these new items provide you with special buffs for your mission, with some of them being very powerful and more useful than others. The Peace Walker battle dress will allow you to tank more hits, providing massive damage reduction, boosting your health recovery, but decreasing Snake’s movement speed considerably. The Peace Walker sneaking suit completely eliminates the sound of your footsteps and also increases your health recovery as well as making the game feel a bit more like ground zeros. If you’ve ever wanted to live among the crocodiles, you can equip the new crocodile suit, which also comes with a new oneeyed crocodile helmet. The suit will make any food in the game taste fantastic, as well as boosting your movement speed while crawling, but it also increases stamina consumption. The naked woodland camo simply adds green and black stripes to Snake’s body and face and is great for sneaking around in the jungle. And the naked ammunition camo allows you to experience what it’s like to be American for a day. [Music] Now, there’s also this amazing gold camo. And whilst it gives you a terrible minus 100 camo index, allowing the guards to see you halfway across the world, it also provides a very fast movement speed buff, allowing you to run away quickly from your responsibilities. For face camo, you’re given a new pair of glasses and sunglasses. I had a feeling that the sunglasses might protect you from the stun grenade flash, but this isn’t the case and they don’t seem to do much of anything. For new equipables, you’re given access to an adorable kerotan mask, which represents the old collectibles, and a gecko mask for the brand new ones.
