Is the Donkey Kong Bananza DLC Worth it? #nintendo #switch2 #donkeykongbananza #shorts
Is the new Donkey Bonanza DLC worth it? Let’s find out. All right, recently Nintendo announced paid DLC for Bonanza that cost 20 bucks. But is it actually worth that price point? Well, upon starting up the game, I was thrown right into DK Island, the new layer of this DLC. It was pretty fun to explore and had a lot of neat references and callbacks scattered within it. But there’s zero collectibles to be found here. No bananas, no fossils, no nothing. With that taken into consideration, there’s hardly anything to do on Dika Ellen. This is only half of the DLC because there’s also the brand new Emerald Rush mode where you have to smash as much Emerald or as you can within a time limit throughout seven rounds in exchange for rewards from VoidCon. Now, this sounds fun in concept, but my god was it boring and tedious. It lasts way too damn long and is ridiculously easy. It even tries to spice things up by placing goals and challenges around the map that you have to complete, but once again, they’re just incredibly boring. As I’m pretty sure you can tell by now, this DLC sucks and is definitely not worth the $20. Maybe if it was like five or 10 or I don’t know, just included with the base game, I’d like it a little more. But at last, it’s ruts filler content that was probably scrapped from the base game. In this short, I discuss my opinions on the overpriced Donkey Kong Bananza DLC!
