Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles 2 – NEW INFINITY CASTLE DLC CHARACTER PACK & RELEASE DATE REVEALS!
Hey guys, so we actually have some brand new reveals and info in the world of Demon Slayer: The Hinami Chronicles 2. From when Muzan Kabutsuji will be coming out as official DLC to when we told the new DLC characters that have officially been announced for the game and when we can potentially expect them. So honestly, I’m not going to waste your time here. Let’s get straight into this. On September 18th, Thursday, with the free update release, a new character joins the battle. Muzan Kaputsuji is introduced in a video, which was the trailer that I released that I uploaded yesterday. The website also features a character introduction page. So, if you guys want to see his page, well, here it is. The creator of demons. He is the one who turned Nzo into a demon and is Tango’s nemesis. He usually lives pretending to be human. So, yeah, pretty standard stuff there. Um, other than the stuff that was released in the trailer, we don’t really know much else, but obviously that’s fine because he releases in a few days from now. Um, Thursday, he will be a free character, so you don’t have to worry about paying none of that stuff. So, yeah, you know, Demon Slayer is looking good. Obviously, this is the look he had um back in the early arcs of Demon Slayer. And of course up I believe in the train hasher training arc. Yep. So yeah. Now as far as the DLC, obviously that’s the one that’s the information you guys are all waiting for. So let’s kind of look in terms of what the information they’ve revealed for the DLC so far. So already we could see the three main demons. Kaaku, Akaza, and Doma. So let’s kind of read through this. This will be the DLC additional character pack. Character pass. Demon Slayer Kim Kimitsu Noy Yaba the Hin Kami Chronicles Infinity Castle Arc Chapter One P Character Pass. Okay, interesting. This is a character pack set product that adds playable characters that can be used in battle versus mode. Tango Kamo Infinity Castle all character pack. Zenetsu, Guillu, Tommyako, Tsukim to Tom toyoka, Shinobu, Doma, Akaza, and Kaaku. Now, let’s kind of like look through and scroll down to see what else they say. Supported platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox. Okay, whatever. Additional characters will be released multiple times on a regular basis. Each character pack can also be in purchased individually. Please wait for further information on release dates and other details. Content has specifications may be subject to change without notice. So yeah, it would seem that these are the characters that are confirmed. Um I do see the what is it called? The see-through world or transparent world version of Tangro actually being a playable character in this pack. Um, I don’t know if they’ll just have it as like a completely different form or if it’ll if it will be part of an awakening or part of an ultimate. I guess we’ll see. I hope it is like a I hope it is either an awakening or just a just shown as a completely different character altogether for this pack. Um, but nah actually I could see it definitely being an awakening. Feels like it makes much more sense in a way. Akaza. Um, I guess we’ll see kind of like see more of his abilities, especially from what he used in the Infinity Castle movie part one. Sorry. Like even though I recently watched the movie, I can’t remember every single thing, unfortunately. Not until we have it streamed officially, of course. No real word on the actual DLC, like the paid DLC will come. You know, they kind of kept that vague for now. But personally, I could see at least one of the characters being officially revealed or coming out just I want to say before the end of the year, maybe some maybe before December. This is based on nothing but just speculation how things go. Um maybe they want to space them out a lot. I don’t know how uh I can’t remember how they did it for Demon Slayer one, but you know, I guess this depends, you know, are they going to like try to have two characters each every pack? Um are they going to separate have it just one add one character in every pack? Could be, you know, um every two to three months, could be four months, could be five months. I don’t know because it’s been so long since I’ve even played the early Demon Slayer 1 or at least kept up with Demon Slayer 1. I’ve just been f I used to focus on Demon Slayer 2. So, yeah, we don’t know. But, you know, we’ll see. You know, the fact that it’s part one. Um, also, you know, obviously we could probably surmise that there is not going to be any story mode for this DLC, which makes sense. you know, why would they add in a story if it could potentially get in the way of the movie sales? Like, at least at this point in time, you know, no story mode, obviously. Just going to be a character pack, no stages, I don’t think so far. Um, will they add story mode in the future? I don’t I don’t know. At least not for this game. I guess it depends on if they’ll do a third game with all the story DLC. I don’t know. But yeah, and then of course there comes this and then there comes like once that’s done, what are they going to do for uh part two? Like once part two comes out with Kokushibo who has a very big impact on the demon slayer and yeah, you know, he does a lot. This guy is a complete nightmare in the from what I read in the actual manga gives a lot of people trouble. So, we’ll see. You know what? We’ll see. I would be grateful if like he came out as a playable character around the time that um the second movie comes out, but we don’t really know when the second movie could come out. Could be next year, late next year. Could be 2 years from now. I don’t really know. You know, it’s this is a unique position, I think. But yeah, um let me know what you guys think. I think man Kabutsuji is going to be a very fun character to play as. I think he looks unique. His animations look great. Don’t really have any complaints. in the comment section below, I would say uh probably let me know if you think that they’re going to do a full story expansion and just at some point in this game’s life life cycle, they’ll add in all the story DLC to kind of like make it paid and give people a chance to play play the movies in the game. Obviously, I said that word wrong, but I hope a lot of you guys understand what I mean. Basically, be able to play the actual story up until the final battle of Demon Slayer, or are we going to get like a Demon Slayer 3 in uh the late future? I don’t know. It’s hard to really say. They could either do both. I think either option I think like they could do the story mode expansion thing, but I don’t know if they will. Um, yeah, it’s hard to say. It feels like there’s a lot of moving parts, but yeah, you know, I’m definitely hoping to play as Kokushibo in the near future. Hopefully, uh, sometime next year and not like 2 years from now. His release date is confirmed for Thursday, and best of all—he’s a free update for all players. Infinity Castle Arc Chapter 1 DLC Character Pass
Alongside Muzan, the devs announced the first major DLC roadmap: the Infinity Castle Arc Character Pack, which adds a set of new playable fighters to versus mode. Confirmed so far are:

Story and Speculation
With this new arc, we’re officially stepping into the Infinity Castle Saga in game form. This raises big questions:
Will the Story Mode adapt the Akaza vs Tanjiro battle we saw in Infinity Castle Part 1: Akaza Returns?
Will Tanjiro’s new form (Transparent World & Selfless State) be integrated into his moveset for his DLC pack?
How will CyberConnect2 handle huge boss fights like Dōma or Muzan’s final forms in future updates?
The addition of Kaigaku also confirms that we’ll see rival battles recreated in VS mode, and the Infinity Castle setting could serve as a new stage/arena with its signature shifting walls and eerie atmosphere.
