Black Ops 7 Zombies Space Station DLC 1 Revealed & Beta Delayed!? 3 maps in Season 1 BO7 Zombies
So today we’ve just had the Call of Duty next reveal event for Black Ops 7 zombies where we finally got a full-fledged look at Ashes of the Damned gameplay as we await for the beta to be able to play farm. Let me know what you think of the map. I think it looks really, really good. The main criticism is really regarding the hood, but we do know there’s going to be different themes from past Call of Duty games. We have just yet to see what they actually look like, but the atmosphere for the map looks really good, but the hood does take away from it. Anyways, the few pieces of information I wanted to talk about today is firstly regarding DLC because season 1 has been announced to have one brand new fullyfledged round Zombies map as well as the fact we are going to be getting two, yes, that’s right, two survival map experiences. So, as you know, the game is only launching with farm, a section from Ashes of the Damned, but there’s many other sections that are perfectly fitting to release as their own maps. For example, we have exit 115, which is basically just the diner from the original transit. That makes total sense. I would really love to see the ascension, the cosmo drrome section as well, released as its own survival map, or even Ashwood itself or the lake. These are all perfect for survival maps. And we know they’re going to be drip fed throughout the year from Ashes of the Damned and the DLC. And this means we’re getting three zombies maps in season 1. This is unprecedented, unheard of. It feels like Treyarch are finally listening with the amount of content we’re going to be getting post launch for this game. It’s a win-win for everyone and there might potentially be five main zombies DLC maps as well if the rumors about the leaked maps are to be believed. What actually is DLC 1? Well, Tre have actually teased what it’s going to be because they said it’s going to be full metal. Now, I don’t know what that means. Is it referring to the music genre or is it referring to the map itself? Because if it’s referring to the map itself, then this could be a teaser that the dark ether space station map that was leaked could actually be DLC 1 because obviously a space station is made up of metal. But if it’s referring to the music track, it could be referring to the Easter egg song as being a more classic metal track. Now, there were some previous rumors that the Nazi New York map is going to be the DLC 1 map, but that could potentially be cancelled. These are all just concepted maps, so we don’t know if they’re actually going to release. The other maps are Vietnam, Afghanistan, and the showing Japanese temple beneath an erupting volcano. So yeah, more maps than ever before. Every single season should be getting a new zombies map, whether it’s a survival map or a main map, and we should be getting multiple even per season, as well as we’ll be getting new modes, etc. The other piece of information that I wanted to talk about is regarding the beta. So, as you know, it was a complete shock when they announced that we’re going to be able to play zombies for the very first time in a beta. Of course, not the main experience Ashes of the Damn, just the farm vanor farm survival map. Nevertheless, it’s better than anyone could have ever anticipated. And lots of people were pre-ordering the game after finding out this news, especially zombies fans who don’t care for multiplayer. But then it was just announced at Call of Duty next day that zombies is not even going to be accessible in the beta day one on the second when it releases. Instead, it’s apparently only going to be available on the Friday on the 3rd. Why? Why delay it from a day? Yes, people are saying, “Well, be grateful. you know, you didn’t have to have a zombies beta. This is better than you could have ever asked for. And yes, that is true. But they announced the zombies beta. We would all expect that means it’s there day one. People pre-ordered the game just to be able to get access to the zombies beta. And obviously, the early access for the beta is only live for a short period of time and then it’s open to everyone. So that means they’re just sort of messing people about who have pre-ordered just to play zombies and then they have to wait a day. What’s the point for that? Now, the Call of Duty UK blog made an even further discrepancy because they said that zombies wouldn’t even be available in the beta until the 4th on the Saturday of October. I think this is a mistake, though. They made a mistake saying the beta was one day early on Twitter as well. I don’t know why they’ve made this mistake, though, because the time zones are still the same day regardless of whether you’re in the UK or America for the date it actually releases. But, I think that is a mistake. But then apparently Zombies is also going to be exiting the beta early on the 6th of October on the Monday. So it would literally only be there for a few days. I’m hoping this is a mistake because they have removed it from the blog now. So it is possible that this has been changed or it was just a mistake or some outdated thing. I don’t understand. Treyak literally have an easy slam dunk with a zombies beta and for some reason they just find a way to make us all annoyed. It just seems like they keep messing up with their communication lately. Every single time they have something good going for them, they find a way to screw it up. They need to be a lot clearer with their communication, and there’s miscommunication going on here between the UK page and the other pages. So, they definitely need to release a statement or something as to what’s going on here. But let me know what you think about this. It’s not a good sign that zombies might be getting less time in the beta because it shows they’re not confident in the product if they think we’re going to get burnt out quickly. I hope they’re not just trying to get us to play multiplayer instead because I feel like a lot of zombies fans just don’t care for multiplayer. I can understand that some do, of course, but I think for those fans, they will just play both, especially because it’s just a survival experience. I mean, there’s not exactly much to the map anyways. So, if you like to play both, you’re probably going to play both. Now, they did confirm there’s no round cap in the beta, which is great news. So, you can go as long as you want, but not really if there is such a short delay on it. So, we’ll have to see about that. But anyways, let me know your thoughts down below.
