Sparking Zero DLC Season 2 is real…

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC and updates confirmed for 2026. Yesterday, they went ahead and dropped the first anniversary trailer. Just going over all 200 plus characters. At the very end of the trailer, they went ahead and teased future announcements. You can see it says 208 and then slowly goes up to 209. Then says to be continued. Then over here on their Twitter page, they went ahead and put out this tweet. What a milestone for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Over 200 characters and counting. Enjoy this character showcase as we celebrate the game’s first anniversary. But it’s not over yet. This is the important part. The next DLC is already in the pipeline, bringing new characters and more. This is the big one just because I feel like a lot of us, you know, more characters are always cool, don’t get me wrong, but we need more content other than just characters, you know what I mean? So, there’s definitely going to be a ton of speculation surrounding the more parts, more info coming January 2026. Stay tuned to the channel. Whenever January comes around, we’ll be covering all the additional details. I went ahead and put out this tweet. Why do I feel like they’ll be adding more than just characters this time? We need to see new game modes, more stages, and peak customization with new character skins/ outfits, accessories, items, etc. Just because going over season pass one, you know, they start working on things in advance, you know, many months before the release of the actual DLC’s. So, I feel like they already had season 1 planned out. Okay, DLC 1 is going to be superhero. DLC 2 and three. They’re going to be about the dama packs and we’re going to be focusing on characters, right? They did give us some outfits, only one for Piccolo and another one for Dama Mini Goku and one stage for DLC pack 3, the first demon realm. But ever since then, a lot of us have been voicing our opinions, saying we want more than just characters. We need new game modes. We need additional skins. We have to utilize the customization feature that you guys promised to be epic. You know, we need additional stages. Now that they received all this feedback from season 1, I feel like season pass 2 has some potential, right? You know, taking all that feedback, okay, these guys want more than just characters. We have to lock in, start giving them, you know, great customization options, stages, and game modes. Now, that’s probably Copium at the end of the day because this is Bandai we’re talking about, but that’s just me having faith. I guess season 2 could be a lot superior to season 1. That’s all I’m trying to say. Of course, we do have to wait for the additional details. Once again, dropping January 2026. So, we have to wait all of October. It’s currently the 3rd. November, December, 3 months until we get additional news, which it is what it is. I’m glad that, you know, they’re keeping us in the loop at least saying that the next reveals will be in the month of January. Now, going over here to the Japanese Twitter does say, “We are currently developing new DLC, including characters and more.” Basically, the same thing. Further updates are planned for January 2026 and beyond. So, stay tuned. If you guys remember about couple months ago, they went ahead and confirmed Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026. And yes, Sparking Zero will be at this event. So 2026 in terms of receiving updates, reveals, and announcements. It’s looking very promising for Sparking Zero. Now, I want you guys to comment down below. What would you like to see for the entirety of Season Pass 2? Of course, there’s going to be maybe at least up to three DLC’s. That’s usually what they do for a lot of their Dragon Ball games. You know, DBC Kakra, each season pass had three DLCs, except for the last one, Da two DLC’s. Sparking Zero, three DLC’s for season 1 and so on and so forth. You know what I’m saying? But yeah, just comment down below what you personally would like to see. Characters, you know, new game modes, added customization features. In my personal opinion, I’m looking at things to be added for the longevity of the game that will help Sparking Zero in the long run. Yes, getting characters would be cool. I’m seeing a lot of people saying add OG Dragon Ball characters, add, you know, Super 17, Pyon. Again, I would like those characters as well, but that’s not necessarily my priority just because that won’t save Sparking Zero. You know what I mean? In my personal opinion, I feel like new game modes could help Spark and Zero the best, as well as customization, but we’ll talk a little bit about that later on. More specifically, offline game modes, single player content, just because if they do that, we’ll have a lot more stuff to do in the game besides playing online multiplayer. And if they do add new game modes, you know, I don’t even know what they could add. You guys know Tenaci tag team with the two versus two co-op play or whatever it was multiplayer online play. That would be kind of nice. Uh but bring back a lot of the game modes from the Tenkai series. They had the arcade system and mission 100, the survival mode. They could even do something similar to the raging blast series which was also developed by Spike. The galaxy mode. I think that was like their unique story missions which we kind of have a little bit of that for Sparking Zero but only eight characters. is they don’t even need to necessarily bring back game modes from the prequels. They could just come up with something new like raid boss missions, which to be fair, we kind of have something similar to that right now. It’s called the legendary warrior faceoff mode. Uh for the first one, we went up against DBS Broly. The second one was Whis. And now the one that’s currently ongoing, we get to go up against DBS Frieza. You know how they have not necessarily immense health, but they’re like difficult to beat. you get to go in with three diffic difficulties. You know, that is kind of cool there. But I don’t know. You know how you can have a team of five players? What if instead of Legendary Warrior faceoff mode, you have five online players? You get to switch, of course, take turns. It’s not like going to be five online players on the battlefield at the same time, but each online player controls their own character up to five. and you get to switch between them and go up against, you know, giant characters. Again, something similar to like a raid boss. That would be kind of cool, but I’m not necessarily expecting all of that. Again, this is just copium speaking at this point. Something that would be epic alongside the additional potential game modes if they decide to add them, the customization option. You could swap the auras, add a lot of the accessories, change the characters outfit, you know, do all that cool stuff within the offline single player content because again, not a lot of people do play online, but that will be great for both sides of the spectrum, right? Customization, you get to do all that stuff within the offline mode. and customization. You get to also do all that stuff in the online play just because if they just add and amplify the customization feature, but you only still have to play, you know, one v one battles, 3v1 battles, you know, I don’t think it’s going to last very long unless, you know, they add other game modes along with the customization. You know what I mean? Best of both worlds. Everybody would be happy. Going back to the characters, I guess an easy way to start would just to bring back a lot of the characters from the Tenkai H3 video game. You know, Super 17, Pyon, uh, add characters that aren’t even in the Tenkai series as of yet, which at that point would be kind of difficult to do because besides the missing movie characters and GT characters, who else could they add? I mean, what if characters? Gohan Black is literally in the story mode. That would be a cool DLC character, right? Other collaborations with different Dragon Ball games. Sparking Zero literally just did that with Legends. They brought in Charlotte. That was also cool. So, if they could collab with the Xenoverse series, bring in Meera Toa, they could collab with Deepz Kakarat, um, Bonu, which would be the least hyped character in my personal opinion. You know, they could collab with fighters, Android 21 with her different many Majin transformations. Now, they did recently just add Beast Gohan, Super Saiyan 4, Goku, Super Saiyan 3, Vegeta, the three most popular characters in the entirety of the Dragon Ball franchise. And that still didn’t save Sparking Zero. So, this is why I feel like we need more than just characters. You know what I mean? Now, when I say the DLC didn’t save Sparking Zero, you know, the game is still healthy. There’s a ton of players still playing the game. I believe if you check the Steam charts, there’s like always 1,000 plus concurrent players. That’s pretty dang good. That’s not even counting the consoles, PlayStation, Xbox, and it is going to be dropping on the Switch to November next month. Sparking Zero is not a dead game. I’m not trying to say that at all. I’m glad it’s doing well because anything Dragon Ball related doing well is good in my book. So, I just wanted to talk a little bit about that. Let me know down below in the comments what you guys think. Always give your criticism and Bondi themselves. I I feel like they take a lot of the feedback/criticism over on their Twitter page. So, yeah, always be voicing your opinions. I think that’s a good thing. You know, good criticism is always nice. Going over here, we do have some additional details. Not necessarily in regards to 26 DLC, but it does sound interesting. Playable characters exceed 200 commemorative events. Pro gamer Kazunokco character challenge streaming confirmed on the Kazunokco channel on October 8th, 2025, Wednesday, 190:00 JST. Defeat the incoming assassins with as many characters as possible with the time limit. Not too sure if this is going to be a game mode, something similar to Legendary Warrior Face Off. You guys know how that’s also a limited time event. I think this is just going to be exclusive to the Pro Gamer Kazanokco YouTube channel or whoever they’re going to be streaming this on. It It could be very interesting. We’ll have to tune in and see exactly what this is. But going off the last sentence right here, defeat the incoming assassins with as many characters as possible. It kind of sounds something similar to a survivor mode. No, cuz you defeat all the characters that’s in your way with the five characters that you spawn in with or something along those lines, right? See how many characters you can defeat or at least within the time limit. So, this very well could be a future new game mode. Maybe they’re just testing things out because again, I think that’s what they did with Legendary Warrior face off mode, how they just tested it out at first. They took it down for a very long time and then brought it back after, you know, a month or so. So, looking forward to that. Yeah, the Kazanokco channel. That’s what we we’ll be tuning in. Here we have assassins. Oh, okay. So, that’s what they mean by assassins. [Music] Other players. So, we have Gio1, Naru, and Aqua. Okay. Yeah. Kazanoko versus the other three. So, that’s essentially what they mean. That speculation just went out the window. It is what it is, man. Details about the pro gamer character challenge are here. Okay, so going over here. Sparking Zero is currently on sale uh on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. I don’t think it’s on sale on Steam. Power up while the deal lasts ends 6th October on Xbox and 8th October on PlayStation. So, we open both links. Originally the game is $70 US, but now you have to save 30 bucks. It’s $39.89. Pretty good deal. It’s not necessarily for the deluxe edition. Only the standard edition and ultimate edition. Check that out. Ultimate edition originally it cost $110. Save 40% brings it down to $65.99. $66 essentially. If we go over to the Xbox website, same thing. Standard edition, that’s 43% off, $39 bucks. Uh, ultimate edition, $66. However, the deluxe edition is on sale. This is not a thing for the PlayStation. It’s still full price, $100 deluxe edition, PlayStation, but Xbox, they brought it down to $60. So again, kind of like that 40% off deal going on. This is it for today’s video. Thank you guys for the immense support as always. Just wanted to talk a little bit about, you know, the upcoming 2026 DLC. Hopefully it’ll just be more than just characters this time. You know, stages, we could expect stages because they did add the first demo room within DLC 3. So characters and stages, yeah, most likely going to be a thing. got additional game modes, you know, updating the customization that needs to happen in my personal opinion. And the customization stuff, I feel like that could be part of a free update, not necessarily behind DLC, you know what I mean? They update the game with a ton of outfits, accessories, items, all that good stuff, but you have to purchase them with in-game currency. you know, Zeni, maybe summon Shenron to get more of the limited items. I don’t know. I don’t know, man. This is it for today’s video. Thank you guys for the immense support, and I’ll see you guys in the next one. Thanks for watching.
