Is Coronation a Bad CK3 DLC?
Coronation dropped recently and let’s just say it was a rough launch. There were several issues right out of the gates, but the biggest points of frustration for the community were that many thought that this content should have already been in the base game and that for the $5 price tag, it was essentially one event chain. To make matters worse, it seems Paradox didn’t fully test the event pack before release. Many events were still displaying raw code strings, and there was even a bug that caused players to fail. O that they had already completed. Overall, it led to a pretty underwhelming first impression. My guess is that the CK3 team was laser focused on making sure Aller Heaven shipped smoothly, and this event pack just didn’t get the attention it needed. They’ve since released a patch that fixed some of the worst issues, but problems still linger. Most notably, we’re still waiting on the missing culture tradition that supposedly tied to oats.
Some good and some bad
