First Attempt – Shattered Eagle – Operation: Dahlia DLC – Tactical Assault VR
Okay, at least I know where he is now. Move. No mercy. Okay, first time they’ve used the uh gang way there. Hey everybody, Substatica here. Welcome back to Tactical Assault VR, available for MetaQuest and PCVR on Steam. In this video, we are going to be taking on the next mission in the recently released Operation Dalia or SWAT DLC, and that is Shattered Eagle. Now, I’ve been trying to complete these missions solo, which is really difficult because they’re basically intended for squads. And completing Flattened Veil solo took me about 30 tries. I have not tried Shattered Eagle yet, so I’m most likely almost certainly going to fail. And I’m going to try it three times, and this will just be my first three attempts, so it might go pretty quickly. Let’s dive in. Well, well, ladies and gentlemen, we got a lucky break. Someone stepped forward after we offered a reward relating to any of the stuff we found in the ranch’s lab. Some LCR fella showed up on our doorstep after the cash. We’ve got solid intel on two ladies who formed the depth collection, part of the cartel’s management. Meet Ona and Salma Los Shakuta Rias. They’re hanging out in the city of Guerrero. Fitting, right? Warrior. The twins are our big break in finding out who’s running the shop from behind the curtains. The sisters are in an extremely dense area full of bad guys, and it’s pretty urban. They’ve got nowhere to go and lots to lose. Your mission is to neutralize the sisters and to index their belongings. Bring them home and we can hopefully find out more about them if you can avoid ventilating them. They’ll be around the main structure, an apartment complex that’s absolutely chalk full of bad guys. Don’t be too afraid of getting in a heavy gunfight. There aren’t many civilians living in the area, which is a bit of a double-edged sword. On one side, no issues with them getting in the line of fire. On the other side, more space to fill with unfriendlies. Once you’re finished with the sisters, move back to the ingress point and we’ll debrief you once you’re back at base. Seventh SFG guys are going to sit this one out. They’re dealing with the trading exercise today. You’ll be rolling out at 2100. Good night and good luck. Well, I’m pretty sure we’re going to be trying to ventilate them. Let’s have a look here. This seems like a really bad deal. Sod’s here. Seems like we also can’t get through over there. There’s probably a lot of windows. Don’t really want to go through there. So, I think I’m looking at this way. And maybe there’s a way up onto the roof that’s not too exposed. That’s the plan at least. And then once we’re on the roof, we could try to clear the rooftops and see what’s what from up there. Well, it’s not much of a plan, but it’s a plan. So, I’m going to give myself three tries. I don’t really like the idea of respawns, so I’ll just turn those off. But we’re just going to go in at 100% health. No hesitation. We strike with speed and silence. Okay, we started a bit closer than I was expecting. Can we get behind this car? No. Okay. It’s a lot tighter actually than I thought. It’s a lot smaller. Okay, we got a ladder there. That’s good. I’m hearing footsteps. I see him. Well, I can’t go up the ladder with him about to pop out of there. Just give him a second. [Music] Take cover. Don’t like this alleyway between the buildings, but I think going for the ladder is better than peeking that corner. Hey, over here. Not great. Okay, we do them. All right. I’m not seeing any more over there, but we got multiple levels. I don’t like this. That one’s clear. Okay, that one’s clear. Let me get around this side now. Oh, I don’t want to expose myself to the courtyard. I’m surprised there’s not more of them up here. Got to stop peeking over the edge like that. Okay, that one’s clear, too. Let’s just clear this last rooftop. I guess we’re exposed. Okay, that’s just a stairwell. All right, rooftops are clear right now. Now we can start taking shots through the windows, I think. Okay, nobody so far. [Applause] H too quiet. Okay, let’s see if we can see anything from the other rooftop. Still no one there. Okay. There are stairwells all over the place, but I’m not seeing anyone in this main area. I guess we need to kick things off. I’ve got eyes on the Okay. See if anything changed. So that’s going to come down in that room there. [Applause] I don’t like that. Let’s have a look down here first if we can. None of these seem any good, but we don’t have a time limit. That one seems better. Let’s take that board down. We’re exposed in the hallway, but at least we can breach that door. Okay, seems like that room is clear anyway. I don’t know about this one. We got a stairway right in front of us here. Okay. I don’t want to turn my back, but I can’t go up backwards. Now, where was that shot from? They may go up to the roof from there. I don’t want to lose track of them. Okay, let’s see if we can see them from up here now. See them? It’s pretty tight down there. Seems like we should get a line of sight on them from up here. Oh. Okay, they’re down. Let’s go back to doing what we were doing. I mean, there may be more in there. [Music] Okay, that’s clear. [Music] That’s a strange one over there. Very exposed down here. Okay. Don’t think I know anything about this particular room. Okay, I hear footsteps. [Music] Hey, I see something. Okay, we got a stronger door here. Is he still down? Yeah, we didn’t clear this room. Okay. Watch out. It’s Get ready. Seems like there’s another one. Just one. I don’t know. There’s no trip wire. Okay. Just the one. Okay, I guess that means we have an objective over there. I’m not sure. Another objective down there. No trip wire. Okay, nobody in here. Let’s just get ourselves a fresh magazine. Okay, there’s one down. Uh, so do I catalog your belongings? This next floor is not looking friendly. Oh, don’t want to lose you. Trying to put my fresh mags on one side and my half empty mags on the other side. Yeah, this seems like bad deal going down to this next level. Okay, that stairway seems the least exposed, but we do have a room with an open door right there. And that’s a stairway down. Okay. Lots of stairways down. Okay. Judging by where the red circle was. No trip wire. Not good. There she is. Button this up and get you folks home. Red smoke at your LZ. Great. Where’s that coming from? Open fire. Oh, okay. So, again, it’s the Xfill. Heads up. Eyes open. Let’s go. All right. So, all hell breaks loose on the Xfill, but our approach seemed to work. And we got both sisters. Okay, that’s real close. Sounds like it’s above me, actually. Let’s go for it. [Music] [Music] All right, somebody’s patrolling up here or down there on that next level like before. [Music] [Music] there. Okay. More movement maybe below us. We’ve got company. Oh, unlucky. How on earth does he make that shot? Okay, let’s get this done. Heat. Heat. We are vulnerable. Okay. I still think the roof is the best way to go. But dangerous at first. Seems like there’s at least one up here. There he is. Sounds like two. There he is. Okay, let’s keep some cover. Don’t know where they are yet. Move now. Get in position. Hey, watch out. Things are going to get hot when I get to that second rooftop. Okay, at least I know where he is now. Move. No mercy. Okay. First time they’ve used the uh gang way there. Hey, I see. I’m not sure if he’s down Okay, somebody’s moving. I don’t like it. Seems like they’re right under me. Let’s see if we can see them from the other side here. What the Going through a lot of ammo. What am I charged? I guess I am. Can’t seem to pull the charging handle. Let’s just get some cover and make sure. Yeah, I guess we’re charged. Okay. Um, time to head down. I like taking the the gang way down. I think it’s safer than heading into these rooms through the stairwell. [Music] Okay. Nobody in that room. [Music] Okay. Wasn’t checking for trip wires. I see it back there. [Music] I don’t like how that opened or didn’t open. Okay, that wasn’t one of the sisters. Did we not open that door? Pretty sure we did. Must have just closed again. Yeah. Okay. We don’t have our objective circles yet, but they may just show up on a timer. I’m not sure. Okay. Okay, there’s one. Now, when we kill the other one, we’re going to have to make our way out. Probably best to head back to the roof and then down the ladder. H. Next floor. Take a Sounds like somebody’s down here, too. Or not. Not good. Somebody’s moving. That must have been the noise that we heard. Two in there. Main objective complete. Finish up and get to the extraction ASAP. They’re here. Okay, the stairway is going to be death for us. Oh, I don’t know uh who hit us there. Well, there you go. That is my first three attempts solo at Shattered Eagle, the third mission in the recently released Operation Dalia or SWAT DLC for Tactical Assault VR.
