The new update also confirming the return of Brock Lesnar along with some additional DLC, some brand new title motions, and a new unlockable character which is set to be added to the game as a new persona. So, let’s start with news on the new patch 1.26 update for WWE 2K25 with this new update weighing in at around 2.5 GB on PlayStation. According to the official patch notes, the focus of the update is to add support for the upcoming John Cena Farewell Tour Edition, where following the update, if you select the DLC category on the selection screen, all the DLC content in the farewell edition is now visible, including Brock Lesnar, whose return is now officially confirmed. Taking a look at the renders for the characters, Brock’s render confirms the rumors that we’re getting his current version as the image shows Lesnar in his return gear from SummerSlam. Also listed, we have our first look at the new R Truth Ron Cena model, which shows him in his custom version of the John Cena shirt, complete with hat and armbands. We have a classic version of John Cena 03 as the Doctor of Thuggonomics and John Cena Wrestlemania 41 featuring his heel gimmick. Going back to Brock Lesnar showing off his model. WWE games modder Whitty Whitson shared this image of Brock in the creation suite was confirming that he features an updated character model complete with a new hairstyle. The farewell tour edition is scheduled to be released on October 16th. However, ahead of the release, the WWE games accounts have been sharing entrance previews. with first to be shown off being the new Wrestlemania 41 version of Cena, which includes the addition of a brand new entrance. The recordbreaking 17time champion. Come on, Cole. Say it with a little more enthusiasm. That’s all the respect John Cena deserves. Now, the following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring from West Newberry, Massachusetts, weighing in at 251 lbs, John Cena turned his back on the fans. Turned his back on WWE and might be the best decision Cena has ever made. It led him to the glory of his record 17th world title. In addition to his regular entrance posting on X, WWE games modder what’s the status revealed that Cena also features some additional motions. The first being a new heel victory scene as to go along with his new entrance. The developers have also included an updated victory. When it comes to title motions, the DLC also includes a new title entrance and title victory with these motions mirroring his new heel entrance as he wears the title backwards while making his way to the ring. The last real champ is here. This man makes me sick. Take a look at the now trademark scowl on the face of John Cena. Seems like he doesn’t even want to be out here. Once a hero, now Cena is just bitterness personified. Switching to his title victory. This one is very similar to the regular motion as it starts off the same way as he gets back to his feet before then going on to take the title from the referee and hold it up to celebrate. [Applause] [Applause] Alongside the previews for the current version of Cena, the WWE games account have also released a full entrance for the classic version of John Cena 03 as we’re getting his original heel look complete with his word lifetrons and music. While it’s great to see this version of Cena making a return, unlike the current version which garnered a lot of positive reactions, the response to this version has been somewhat mixed. As while the model is great and it includes the right trrons and music, a lot of people have pointed out a change to the attire as rather than give him the green Boston Cell X jersey that the attire is based on, 2K opted to include a custom jersey with a text franchise 17 making reference to his 17 world titles. That decision is one that people have been questioning as given that 2K also work on the NBA series, it shouldn’t have been too hard for them to license the Celtics jersey given all the connections with the NBA. Up next, let’s talk bonus content as a farewell edition is also set to include some new attire parts for the creation suite as after installing patch 126. If you browse to the top section, you’ll notice that the update has added five of Cena’s tour shirts with including the blue shirt that he wore in London, the navy shirt he wore in Scotland, the green shirt that he wore in New Jersey for Summerslam, the Lakers themed shirt that he wore in Bakersfield, and the gray shirt he wore in Dayton, Ohio. All five of the new shirts are listed as DLC content alongside his Mania shirt, where selecting them will display a message that you need to purchase the farewell edition in order to use them. So, that’s all the content from the farewell edition. However, the patch update has also added some additional content in the form of a new unlockable character as the updates added a new listing for Ko3 who’s set to be added to the game in the near future as a new Persona card within my faction. Showing off a preview of Kane, what’s the state shared footage of his entrance where it was confirmed that we’re getting his unmasked attire with a black singlet with red straps. This version also featuring his slow chemical theme from 2003. Driven by twisted demonic impulses every step of the way. There’s currently no word on when this version of Kane will be made available. Although given that his model was added and that he was added to the selection screen, it’s possible he could be available as early as this Friday when the My Faction Store updates. Moving on, for players on Xbox, it was reported that the previous update caused a lot of players to lose their save data as the 125 update was reported to cause save data to randomly reset with 2K advising players to hold off updating or launching the game until a new patch had been released. Now, with the release of patch 126, it’s assumed that those problems are now fixed. Though, as of yet, there’s been no official confirmation from 2K and no mention of a fix in the patch notes. So, if you’re playing on Xbox, I’d suggest holding off playing for the time being just to be safe. As if 2K do come out and confirm that the problem is fixed, I’ll leave an update in the pinned comment so you know it’s safe. So, that’s everything we know regarding patch 126. As for anything else, it’s expected that 2K will continue to promote the farewell tour edition by releasing entrance previews for Brock and for our truth in the coming days. This then leading up to the official announcement where it’s expected that they’ll also announce details of a farewell edition bonus pack for players who already own a copy of 2K25. So, that’s the latest roundup for WWE 2K25. Let me know what you make of it in the comments. And if you missed the previous round up, I’ll leave a link to that on screen as it contains more on the farewell tour edition as well as addressing the rumors of EA taking over the WWE license. Until next time though, thank you so much for watching this video. Have yourself an awesome day and I’ll catch you later.
