If it’s not on sale on Steam, you can grab it in the description down below. That all being said, let’s jump into Dune. Check out the DLC and see what it’s all about and have some damn fun. So, we’re picking up where we left off, and the game has remembered and locked in all of my cloud saves. So, the game has been uninstalled and reinstalled twice since the early beta. In my opinion, for $10, which isn’t a great deal of money, you expand the story. You get a brand new glider, which is like a two wheel. I don’t know what it is, like a hover car. You get a thumper emote, which, yeah, we don’t care about emotes, right? Four weapon skins, which is decent if especially if you’re a melee attack class. You get two armor skins and you get five decorative pieces for your houses, which isn’t much, right? Three expandable Imperial tester stations and you get the Dune Man building piece with also the journey expanded. So, there’s quite a few little bits and bobs in there added to that unfinished story, let’s say. And although they might not have given as much from the story as people were kind of expecting, it was really predominantly a sandbox environment. and it was a builder crafter that you just get more of that good stuff you love from Conan. Now, if you never played Conan, I can see why you might have the opinion that the game was a little bit unfinished, you know, a little bit unpolished. Yeah, they could have gave us that stuff for free, but again, the game needs to make money to make more DLC to give us more of what we want. I think it’s kind of a catch 22 for the company, and I think it’s kind of a catch 22 for the gamer. Yes, if in a perfect world, everything would be free, and it would be great. We do live in a monetized world where things are going to cost money. Overall, I think it’s value for money. I think it’s a good addition and it keeps the game fresh for the end of the year. Now, coming in 2026, I would imagine the company’s got something planned. There must be a road map. From what I hear, the game is not in any end mode development. It’s going like Conan where they’re going to constantly release DLC for a bit. I don’t know if it will run as many DLCs as Conan. I don’t know if it’ll run as long as Conan, but Conan is still being developed for, right? Conan is still in the works and I feel like this game probably won’t run as long as Conan, but will have a good run. I think backing this through 2026 would be a good idea for me, good idea for the channel and a good idea for the players to keep with it, keep an eye on it, keep up with the updates because I do feel like the developers are a good company to rely on.
