Could Hornet Return To Hallownest In Silksongs DLC?
The white lady might still be alive during Silkong. In Hollow Night, she’s alive but hidden. And since Silkong is a sequel, I kind of expected her to be gone by now. But she actually appears in the Red Memory. And even though it’s just a memory, she speaks in the present tense. That’s not unusual for Higher Beans. Grim and Hornet both show awareness inside dreams. But it hints she might still exist somewhere. And that’s where the needlein mechanic comes in. Hornet can enter the memories of powerful rulers like Carmeletta to lay them to rest, which actually heals the land like Verdania after we beat the Green Prince. So, if the white lady is alive, Hornet could return to Hallow Nest, enter her memory, defeat her, and finally help the kingdom heal.
Even though Silksong takes place long after Hollow Knight, new clues suggest she could still exist and might even return in a future DLC. From her appearance in the Red Memory to the Needolin mechanic and Hornet’s power to heal corrupted lands, everything points to one thing: Hallownest’s story might not be over.
