Rust Warhammer DLC – Testing In-Game
Check this out. We have the Warhammer DLC now in Rust available for purchase. This is in-game footage. $12.99 USD if you’re interested. It comes with the Warhammer hazmat, the pump shotgun reskin custom model. Uh we have the chainsaw remodel as well. We have a brand new backpack and we have two storage container skins or remodels once again. And this is for the barrel, the vertical, and the horizontal. So, let’s take a closer look at all these items and help you decide if you want to buy this for $13. So, first, of course, we have the shotgun or the pump remodel. Very detailed skin. and it has this like skull on the side of it and it’s called the shotgun. It’s the same as the pump. Now, you might have noticed that it has eight shots, not six. Well, don’t worry. That’s because they buffed the pump shotgun. As you can see, it also has eight shots now. So, that’s pretty cool. Let’s test it out on some hazmats. Yep. And this, of course, is the hazmat itself, the hazmat they call it. And this is the backpack on it by default. And then this backpack, unfortunately, it’s full. I can’t take it off. Is how it looks like if you put this one on. It’s a reskin for the regular backpack. So, this one comes with the hazmat. It doesn’t give anything. It’s just like a how it looks like. So, that’s pretty cool. Let’s check out the chainsaw now. So, this is a chainsaw remodel. Works the same as the chainsaw. You know how they changed the animations? Well, I think they did it because of this. That’s pretty cool. Let’s try a tree. It feels pretty good. Nothing really that crazy. It looks great. It’s a little bit hard to hit the X unless you have a cross. So that’s the Creed chainsaw, I guess. Oh, look. That’s cool. It’s even animated. Oh, it’s called the chain sword. My bad. Free chain sword. So yeah, now we have a chainsaw reskin or remodel. Try one more gun. That’s cool. Now the hazmat itself looks very detailed. Has all these pouches. Some type of a thing right here with a gauge. That’s the backpack. the reskin or remodel. There’s a cup here. Wire. Overall, really cool. Oh, look. There’s even a shovel here on the side. Very cool looking hazmat. Let’s also test out how it looks inside like a shrub or something. Can you see it? You know what? I’d say it blends in kind of pretty good in green areas. I don’t know why. Blue and green kind of um blend in pretty good. Maybe I’m just color blind. I’m actually not, but maybe I am. Okay. Well, finally, let’s take a look at the storage containers. And the vertical storage containers. Actually, they’re kind of easy to put down. Hey, maybe not that easy, but you get the idea. All right, not perfect. So, the vertical ones I don’t have an issue with, but the horizontal one, as you can see, it’s not straight because the bottom part and the top part are kind of offset. So, this makes it kind of hard to put down and I’ve had some trouble. This might be because of my shelf placement, but it’s not as easy as regular um barrels. Let’s try it again. Okay, that that’s probably due to the shelf. Okay, maybe not actually. So, yeah, I don’t know. I don’t think this one is as good easy put down. Looks pretty good, but it’s kind of it looks bigger as well as you can tell. Now the interesting thing is we can look at the colliders and uh for the most part they look the same but for this horizontal one it looks a little bit taller with the bamboo one or the jungle one being the lowest one. Yeah, there’s definitely a slight change here, but it’s similar to the other ones. The vertical one looks pretty much the same kometer. Yeah, it looks nearly identical, if not identical. So, yeah, you decide if you want to use these. I think they’re pretty cool. I’d probably use the vertical one, but not the horizontal one because it is kind of weird to place down. But maybe it’s just a skill issue for me. So yeah, overall I think it’s a pretty cool DLC. 13 USD, you get quite a few items. Plus, if you’re a fan of Warhammer, you should definitely get this. This is definitely one of the more detailed hazmats, and it’s a kind of a cool crossover. That’s just my take. And the stats are the same as a regular hazmat. Nothing special.
